The Work in Progress Bread Recipe ⬇️
Ingredients
3 cups whole wheat pastry flour
1 cup all purpose flour *
1 tablespoon active dry yeast
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons maple syrup
2 cups warm water
1. In a large mixing bowl add the flours, active dry yeast, and salt. Stir to combine, Then put the warm water in a small bowl and add the maple syrup to dissolve it.
2. Add the maple syrup water to the large mixing bowl and mix all ingredients together until combined.
3. Preheat the oven to 390 F. Line a 9x5 loaf pan with parchment paper and pour the dough in evenly. Cover with a clean, damp tea towel and let it rise for 25 minutes or until level with the edge of the loaf pan.
4. After rising, remove the tea towel and bake for 40 to 45 minutes. Lift the bread by the parchment paper out of the loaf pan when done baking and allow to cool before eating. Stores well in a glass container with lid or a sealable ziplock type bag. Can be frozen.
* Or use 4 cups whole wheat pastry flour and no all purpose flour

Michele, you are just the best! I had no idea such a kit existed. I’m struggling with some health things right now and my blood tests came back “normal” buuuuuut what I’m going through is NOT normal, so I’m going to check them out ❤ Love you so much!

Hi! I’ve tried soooo many natural products and this past year I’ve done such a terrible number on my hair. It’s not healthy right now🤦🏻‍♀️ I screwed it up with a henna and then had to get it color corrected with regular (toxic) color and I’m just getting to the point where that is growing out. It’s been a mess but hopefully I’ll come around to a simple and natural routine again. And when I do I’ll be happy to share that😊

I'm a California Girl and am in the sun a lot and still was low in D which I have to supplement {really cloudy recently though}. I've been vegan for about six years. Wonderful video, I will be making the bread. Looking forward to more videos. Thanks.

I made your bread with your recipe and YUM!!!!!! Second time I used Caputo flour (gluten-free) and I’ll tell you what….another WIN! I liked the faint sweetness and was wonderful for making French toast, chia spiced bread pudding, salad croutons, sweeter stuffing, and a strawberry panzanella salad. 👍🌻

Lol its meeeee Carina !! Texting from my husbands phone as we are in portugal like i told you!! Lots of sun here !! But i still think you should move to Hawaii!!! Its your dream! Well here in Europe where im at plant based is hard to find restaurants! But its a-lot of option in the super markets! I have cheated a little”” but girl heart burn was the consequences! So nice to hear you aren't opposed to supplements! I also take a D3 because exposing even 30 minutes to strong sun can increase the risk for skin cancer, read a bit on that if you like! Congrats on the 15+ years strong 🤗💚

Last time I got blood work I was also deficient in vitamin d! It’s a good idea to get tested annually

​Cholesterol is a nonessential nutrient because our body produces it, dietary cholesterol raises LDL which contributes to deadly cardiovascular and other diseases. How about focusing on Vitamin C because herbivores/humans can't produce it as carnivores and omnivore animals do.
