As an INFJ who howls with her dog as a bonding experience and also explained the whole ancestor wolf thing to people who wonder why dogs howl together in the evening and constantly checks my doggo's water bowl to see if he's hydrated, this was AMAZING

We adopted 2 1/2 dachshunds one with Corgi the other Staffordshire terrier.... Neither will heel properly or can be trusted off leash to follow commands unless they want to. Both are excellent at training humans. Grrrrrr 😆

Honestly, I was expecting a Pittie breed for us. Fiercely loyal, very protective, lovable goofs that get a bad rep, generally chill until you're stupid enough to set them off, and they'll gladly sit on your foot and soak up all the head scritchies and ear rubs you care to bestow upon them (and to be honest, I'd do the same). They have active periods, and 'are you dead?' periods, and 'OMG do I smell BACON?!' periods (sometimes the last two are within half a second of each other). 🤣

My ex hubby is indeed a dachshund and he's all these, except for "lively" or "active" (he's also "devoted" to himself). He's more like a couch potato who played with his laptop and gadgets 24/7. He's very smart and handy (troubleshooting is his middle name), but so damn lazy unless the works was all his own ideas. 🤣 Lovable and adorable nonetheless, if you're lucky enough to get close to him. (This poodle still feels honored to be one).

Oh, poodle as an INFP was an interesting choice. I’m a vet nurse and can agree that they’re stereotyped as being aloof (the toy purebreds, not mixes or standard). As an INFP and a Libra I do connect with that feeling of being misunderstood. I personally am a cat person over dogs, which I never would have seen coming growing up.

I laughed right from the beginning, because I actually used to live in Germany where I had a German Shepherd in my family, and when I do see istj Personalities in real life, I always had this feeling that I'm watching a German Shepherd when I see how the istj lives. As someone who used to wn a Duschund, I can conrifm she was just like that XD She was fairly independent, earned to play hide-and-seek by herself, didn't like to do tricks, and adopted us as her children, barking and growling at any kid that came near us. She was fierce adn a bit bonkers. Until she had pups, then she devolved into a nervous mass of even fiercer protectiveness. She fought a rat 2/3 her length! And won, and took it to her pups until mom put it in the trash. She also became the Basset's boss, because that thing was extremely codependent. RIP Jessie.

As a fellow INFJ, I’m surprised we got the husky but I see it. I guess I related more to my dog that passed away than I thought( He was a husky). Ah the feels video made me smile.

Husky are very good with their natural instinct. that's why the Arctic people need them to sled out the tick snow. car can't help much with this strong cold tick Arctic snow, it was the dog that in need. Husky is the dog of hero that saved the day in extreme cold climate. Balto / Togo are the legendary sled dog in the history to saved the children from cold and sickness. i enjoyed Disney Togo movie is very heart touching to see a strong intuitive dog saved lives.

I really loved the whole idea of this - I love dogs for a start - and think you did a brilliant job matching them up. I will now always see all these dogs differently. Spot on with the French bulldog as we women do love them and always stop to speak. And I DO relate to the husky / wolf. Hilarious and very insightful. Also a cat lover, I think that would be too difficult to do but a huge thank you for the dogs.

I felt so bad for Golder Retriever...seriously if that was their logic, they would be ISFJs indeed, but I think they are more extroverts and enthusiastic than us. Wonderful dogs truly, our dog is half Golden Retriever and he is adorable and actually very considerate of each of us and tries to not overstep our boundaries. I have a phobia with dogs after some incidents and he can tell, I am not handling well how energetic he can be, so he always tones it down for me and he is affectionate but in my own pace and if he sees something he does scare me, he stops immediately and lays down for me to pet him because he knows I don't feel threatened that way. ^-^ We have typed him as an ISFP though, because he is more perceptive, quite introverted for a dog but with high sense of adventure and a good guide.

@@affinity266 My family didn't own horses but we would go run them and help take care of them for others. There are lots of ranches where I grew up but we live in the city. So yeah I grew up around horses and always wanted to have them. My older sister wanted to be a trick horse back rider when she was a kid but my mom prohibited it. What type of animals did you love playing when you were a kid? My favorite was horses by far. We had diagrams drawn out and and signals for the riders so we as horses knew what to do. HAhaha. Nowadays I just imagine being a supervisor on the playground worrying about our sanity and development.

@@carissahill3414 that's nice, I grow up in the city, too, so there is no much animals around me and no pets in the house, plus I'm allergic to cats, the only animal I came across was toys haha, I also had a lot of books about animals. I loved playing different animals not one in particular, trying mimicking their sounds and their moves, creating stories and adventures with my brother lol. For real my animals had characters I really had a wild imagination as a child lol. Good memories, thanks for the nostalgia :)

My bulldog was a cross of the Pug and the Doxie. The dude looooved naps but commands were more like a suggestion. But he did have fun trying to eat the skateboard I got him
