1 - Nerede Kaldın? (Where did you stay?): This is actually another colloquial phrase that means “What took you so long?” or “Why are you so late?”. We used the actual meaning in the video in order not to confuse you.
2 - Gelin / Damat (Bride / Groom): While normally used in a wedding context like in English, these words are also used to address or refer to someone who has joined an extended family via marriage. So, for instance, a man who marries someone in the family becomes a “damat (groom)” in that family. This expression is especially used by mothers-in-law and fathers-in-law.
Example: Benim gelinim çok iyi kalplidir, oğlumun kalbini hiç kırmaz. (My bride is very good-hearted; he never breaks my son’s heart.)

I heard that yuz numara came from the French language that was used in diplomatic circles in Istanbul. In France office building rooms are numbered all except the toilets. So the toilets are sans ,(without) a number. This sounds very similar to cent in French (a hundred) So Turks thought they were saying room 100 and this slipped into the language.

"Yüz numara" (number one-hundred) actually comes from the word "loo" (not the pronunciation) as it looks like 100 (loo) :D

“Eşin nasıl?” sorusunu “how is your wife?” diye çevirmişsiniz fakat eş cinsiyet belirtmeyen bir kelime, yani hem “wife” hem de “husband” anlamına gelebilir. Yeni Türkçe öğrenmeye başlayanlar için yanıltıcı veya yanlış bir bilgi olabilir. Uyarmak istedim.
