このレシピだと給水力の高い粒子の細か過ぎる米粉だと失敗すると思います。熱湯で米粉を糊化させる時に固体になるので。

作ってみました。米粉にお湯を加えた時すでに団子状になり、なんとか捏ねて焼きましたが全然膨らまずひび割れて、乾いた餅のような食感になりました笑 おいしいはおいしいですけど、思っていたのと違うものが出来上がったので少々困りました!

A very similar ubbu roti is made in Karnataka of India.

グルテンアレルギーがあるので大変有り難いのですが…火加減や丸めるサイズ・伸ばしたサイズ等も書いて頂けると助かります。

作ってみましたが、沸騰したお湯を粉に入れた途端結構固まってしまったのでそのままボールの中でー動画では鍋の中ー練って焼いてみたのですが全然膨らみませんでした。火を通しながら練らなかったからなのか、フライパンの温度が悪かったのか原因は何なのだろうといぶかっています。フライパンは通常トルティーヤを焼く時と同じようにやったのですが、、?😿

Yes! Exactly what I thought too. In Indian cuisine this is called Chapati, especially because of the method it is cooked. But this recipe is revolutionary cos it uses rice flour. Great for people who have gluten intolerance.

what is confectionary rice?is it rice flour?

xiu, according to what's written in Japanese, it's special made rice flour for cakes & cookies etc. However, I am planning to make my own flour from regular Japanese rice by Vitamix or something that sort.

This is the new kind of rice from a Japanese company called mizuhochikara rice flour. I tried, can't get it anywhere here in US but I've been making this for years now with regular rice flour and it works fine. It's actually an indian recipe using plain rice flour and boiling water with a touch of oil and salt. It swells up good, is soft and pliable and reheats well with steam.
