When I was a very young child my father bought a new car every 3 years. He was a salesman and his cars wore out quickly. In 1955 he traded a 52 Dodge sedan for a 1955 Ford Country Sedan in the exact same colors as this appears to have been: red, but with white around the windows. It even had red and white upholstery very similar to this car's upholstery. He traded it in 1958 for a Chevrolet Brookwood wagon, that my mom absolutely hated, so in 1960 we had a new Ford Country Sedan again.

In 1957 Ford outsold the Chevy. Yet collectors always want the Belair.

Ford outsold all wagons, all years, all makes etc ie number one selling station wagon of all time.
