FOR SALE is a very special 1962 Plymouth Valiant. This vehicle has had ONE OWNER for over 40 years. It came from a 90 year old man in Merced, CA who had this vehicle with him since the early 1980s. He was a race car builder in his day and this was his late wife's car. All of his children learned how to drive in it and it was very dear to the family's heart. He kept very good documentation of everything done in the last 40 years. This vehicle has been lightly gone through but never fully restored. It has remained in remarkably original condition. Any and all work was done by him as he was a car guy his whole life. Unfortunately he was getting too old, and no longer could drive. So this lovely valiant was in the garage since 2006. When this vehicle came into the shop, it really didn't need much. All we did was put fresh gas, a good battery and a few other minor things and it fired right up.
The motor is very healthy, sounds great and has plenty of power. Transmission shifts smoothly through all gears. The only thing left is going through the brakes as they pull to the left when you step hard on them. The vehicle is beautiful inside and out. The exterior is finished in baby blue with a beautiful blue interior. The interior of this Valient is in great condition. Exterior is in excellent condition. Paint is deep and glossy. The body is very straight and all the gaps are perfect. It offers no real rust anywhere. Floors are flawless. This is an original CA car. Go through the video and see everything for yourself. Well documented. What's the ask? I note the aftermarket radio. The dash looks a little peculiar in that it does not look quite period. Is that original?
