@jonathanfreedom1st2 күн бұрын
@ChiefClassics That is cool. You should try and recreate it alittle bit. Aquire Willys Overland memorabilia, and petroliana to build the decor. Some walls backdrops, someday. I'm in Toledo only live less than a mile from the site of Willys Overland plant. Now a Dana manufacturing plant. The Willys Overland Smoke stack is all that remains. By Willys parkway and Jeep Parkway's...ofcourse we named roads for them lol cheers bud

I've owned several pontiacs over the years. I used later heads on all my older cars to lower the compression and for hardened exhaust seats. The 4x heads are 1974s, The gas went to nolead in 73. Too bad the frame is so rusty. Still it was nice to see it moving under it's own power.

That's how I felt too. Bummer it's rotten and flexible, but the car was worth the effort I put into it to make sure the drivetrain was alright

I owned a 1966 GTO. the options for the radio was a reverberator switch. The switch under the dash which you showed me might be to activate the reverberator. I love my Pontiacs. 1966 and 1969 GTO. I bought both of those cars new and as the young idiot that I was, I order them without AC add without power steering. I live in Maryland so I don't know really why I was so stupid the day I ordered either of these.

It’s got the 1970s style oil pan on it plug on the side probably a 74 400 big it’s got the 4X heads easy enough to change the intake and use the older one. I’ve done that plenty of times. Just have to use the right intake gaskets

That's what appears happened. I need to check to see if that block will work in my 63 Bonneville. I'm not sure that the engine mount holes on the block are the same. Also, there's the whole starter on block vs starter on bellhousing deal. Might need to find a 64 and older engine for it
