Had a 67 351 Cleveland transplant 3 speed manual open rear header's and dual feed holley. The car was brutal on the Street.

What a beauty. In walk-around videos, I love the way sound changes as the filming guy moves from nose to the back of the car. Tickling, hissing mechanical sounds fade and you're listening to the mumbling beast.

Good looking car especially in blue. In the early 70's a friend had one of these in all black. Ran good but it would wheel hop if he tried to race it. He wasn't into racing much so it didn't matter to him. I spent a lot of time riding in and driving it. That's back when you could ride around (even though it was a gas hog) on the back roads all day/night, drink beer and get high without getting harassed by the law. Less cars and less cops back then. I liked this body style the best (even though I'm a Chevy man) out of all the year models of the Mustangs, especially the tail lights and rear panel. Thanks for sharing a glimpse of this fine piece of history.

I owned one of these in high school and loved it, even though mine only had a 302, the cam and head work I did made up for the lack of cubes. Nothing quite so lumpy, but it would go.

It's an amazing car. It's actually mine now.... Original 390, Original 4spd Toploader and Diff. Uncut floorboards. This will be handed down. Originally a Silver Frost Car and that will be the repaint color soon.

My first mustang was a 67 S code GT. 4 speed; candy apple red with black stripes. When I got it in 1976 it had a 289 but I swapped in a 428 cobra jet. Sold it a little while later for $1200 .I knew at the time I’d be sorry but it was a beast to drive with no power steering and open glass pack header mufflers.

I put one of these FE blocks in my 58' ranchero. Fair idle cam, tuned AFB, 2 1/2" balanced tubed through blue streak glasspaks, bellflower tips, mild port match (20yr old kid, i think i got close.) Smoked this built 302 62' ranchero (Ricky Racer) on a 1/4 behind drive in movie theater. Glendale AZ. Circa 2000... Really. He got down graded to ricky ranchero.
