Sweet. I had a 68 Plymouth Fury III 2dr fastback back in 75. 318 small block with air conditioning. It was like a light yellow and added dual exhaust to it with Thrush mufflers. Nice street and highway cruiser. Added Cragar SS mags and superwide tires too.😎

Had it for 4 years, sold it and bought a 73 Plymouth Satellite Sebring Plus. 400 big block engine with a big 2bbl carburetor 3spd automatic transmission console shift , high bucket seatand sport gauges. The speedometer read up to 160mph, got it up to 125 with room to go faster. My 1st car was a 66 Plymouth Valiant 2dr hardtop. Nothing special about it, no power steering or breaks but it had a 273 small block V8 with a factory solid lifter cam instead of the old slant 6. I adjusted the valves and put a need a bigger 2bbl carburetor on it and tuned the motor up. It only had 13" wheels but it was my sleeper. Did some serious donuts and burnouts in that car. That was back in 74 in my senior year of high school.😎

My first car was a 68 Sport Fury coupe. Same color as this, black vinyl roof, with all of the extras. My dad got it cheap '77 from a neighbor who never drove it, as the "second" family car. When I got my license @ 15 1/2, she was mine to drive. I absolutely loved that car, even though it was such a large and aggressive looking car for a teen girl to be driving (383 V8.) Engine died in '85, and though I kept her for many years, couldn't find a compatible engine, and sold her. I still miss her.

My first car was a 1968 Fury II, that I paid $350 for in 1975. The thing was a tank, very heavy. It had a 318 cubic inch V-8 and got about 12 mpg.

Learned to drive with a 68 Plymouth 2 dr and blue just like this beauty but one thing missing are the cool turn signal indicators at the top of the front fenders that this 68 doesn't have ,Ithought they were cool' thanks for the flashback.....

I had a '68 Sport Fury with the vinyl fast back roof. I always liked the alternate roof design also. I am guessing it has Commando V8 (383cid). Nice car.

My dad had a 68 Fury III. Yellow. First car I ever learned to drive on. Frustrating because steering was so damned loose. That was back when power steering you could turn with your little finger was considered cool.

Very nice car!!! I just acquired a '68 Fury III convertible in great shape. But mine has the small round turn signal indicators on the top of each front fender. I don't see those on your car. I was wondering if you, or anyone, has had to change the bulb inside the bullet blinker?
