This is wonderful workmanship all the way through. A good crazing and occasional race car. But 1200 is not much today. In the NYC area, you need at or near 2500 to be street race competitive for a say, 3300 lbs vehicle.

Besides just being a beautiful car with a great engine, I love how hard that thing shifts. Seems like most of the cars I've seen you run on the hub dyno had a really loose converter, because they barely moved when shifting. This thing bumps the nose up pretty hard on both the 1-2 and the 2-3.

Great video! Never heard of a hub Dyno before. I'm guessing that the reason for a hub Dyno is that a chassis Dyno won't handle this kind of power without tire slippage. You're tuning for driveability so I'm assuming this car is occasionally street driven. That car would be a handful on the street! Wish you had put up the e.t. on this car.

If I ever found myself in a money is no object situation, a '69 Chevelle is the car I'd build, though I'd probably not paint it "arrest me" red. I'd lean more towards "Granny goin to church" green and no badges for more of a sleeper feel. I would def be hittin' up Steve for a power plant though.

One of the problems with the belt driven centrifugal superchargers is the air intake is on the back side. You either end up sucking hot air, or have to put a 180 elbow on it. Or, put a hole in the hood.
