I had the 1970 Plymouth Satellite 383 my favorite car. A friend of mine had the 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner pistol grip 383 4 speed car he spun a bearing and offered it to me for $1,500.00 back in 1982.i should have kept mine and purchased his as well they were almost in new cond.i kick myself in the butt every day.

I had a 1970 Roadrunner back in the 80's . Blue with the Roadrunner stripe . I put side pipes on it . I would give anything to have it back. I love these cars.

This was the first car I raced at Puallop drugs (my brothers car) I was 14 years old. Had to look threw the steering wheel and over the dash and hang onto the wheel. Best ET I turned was a 14.39 fun days. It had a 383 with an automatic.

I love the 70's vehicles because the engine bays could actually accommodate a big block V8, unlike today's vehicles. They're all crammed in there and it's difficult to so the simplest things on today's vehicles. There's an much room in them old engine bays you could basically do a full engine rebuild with the whole thing still in the vehicle! (Obviously impossible, it's just a joke)

Ya know, people have their dreamcars. I have mine. You might say 50,000 dollars is alot of money. Of course it is. The way I see it is, 1000 dollars isn't. All I have to do is get 1000 dollars, but 50 times. Easy. I did it for 13,000 one time for a car. It was a good step. This will be my next step, if not the last, but I'm 22 and had 10 cars already. I will have my Road Runner and then some.

@tracyfoor4336 5 жыл бұрын
Lol. A bunch of them came with 727 Torqueflight transmissions in them but most 70 Road Runners had bucket seats and a shift console rather than a bench seat, the dash should say Road Runner above the glove box, it being a Road Runner should have a Coyote Duster air breather and not that cheesy Pep Boys chrome thing sitting on top of a Carter 4brl card or a six pack. This looks like a cloned Satellite to Me like the 70 Satellite I used to have years ago.

@@CaptainFALKEN the first new car I ever bought was a 70 383 Roadrunner four speed with a Hurst dogleg shifter due to front bench seats. It registered 150 mph and I pegged the speedometer past that several times. Most fun was racing an SS396 Chevelle on I20 east of Atlanta at 2:00 in the morning. He topped in at 140 mph. I would pull well ahead and wait for him to do it again.
