@kevinlee97514 жыл бұрын
I have owned both, I found that the early 70s Road Runners were better for handling on curves and the breaks were Far better. My 70 Super Bee was best for Street Racing, but it wasn't as good as the Road Runners for Evading the Police.

I don't think we ever got beat in the Charger. Brings back wonderful memories. In those days you could drive around with a case of beer in the back seat in my little hometown.

This is a beauty, not a Charger but it's real close. I'd rather own and drive this MOPAR than any exotic, that's the truth. This car (or the Charger or Challenger) with the 426 HEMI is the holy grail of the muscle car era, however this isn't too bad... Little less talk next time, that motor needs to do the talking.

Just a few quick comments. Missing its Pentastar on the lower right front fender. The back panel where it says D-O-D-G-E should be flat black with the name natural metal color. Missing the seat belt holders that should be mounted to the front side of the seat bottom, wheel well trim missing. Couldn't tell if it has the front shoulder belts which are mounted above the front of the side front windows. How do I know? I took delivery of mine from the factory in November of 1968. Was my college graduation present to myself. Stopped being a daily driver in November of 1971. Now we're at 52,000 miles and still going strong. By the way, if you had a 4-speed, you only kept your hand wrapped around the shifter knob once-when you hit that projection on the ashtray with your knuckles, you never did it again. You forever after pushed into third with the palm of your hand, fingers up and out of the way. (My knuckles were sore for a week.)

@jthev3 жыл бұрын
I used to get 18 miles to the gallon on the highway with my 383 Magnum 4-speed B-5 Blue Bee as long as I didn't go over 50 mph and open the secondaries. If you went over 100 mph, you could no longer hear the radio and you were practically deaf when you stopped. At 120, driving over low hills (like I-80 across Iowa) you went airborne for a split second at each hill's crest and all the gauges momentarily went haywire with weightlessness. And at 150, you downshifted a lot and pumped the manual brakes and hoped you could slow down way BEFORE you HAD to stop.

fender tag says its an n96 car, the hood is wrong, it does not have the inner frame work for the ramcharger air box , you could not mount it if you tried, and ther is no hole for the hood air cable in the fire wall, I dont think that data tag goes to that car! also i notice the right lower door pillar has a small kink, and the edge of it by the spot weld is rolled out vertically , the camera man saw it too that's why he changed direction so fast . that car has been hit.. it was originally r 4 red so its the wrong color , the fander tags a repop, I bet its actually not even a super bee, I can go one and on, but what ever just buyers beware , there are a ton of fake roadrunner and super bees out there, and three times as many hemi car that were ever built be careful before you part with your hard earned cash, dont let a shiny paint job and some stripes fool you! These guys are either ignorant or they are outright trying to screw you. IT AINT NO REAL DEAL.

yak yak yak yak....4:30 seconds in and you have showed the motor and what displacement is it? It says 383 on the scoops at 4:19, but you wave the camera showing paint chips instead of THE key selling point. My first interest in buying a muscle car is the motor. Is it an original 383 or replacement 440? At least better than Maple Motors who say V-8.

I see a lot of bad marks they try to talk you over it. Those below the window will peel of real soon. Under the wheel well had a lot of paint missing. Plus the bottom of the fenders and in between had a lot of rust painted over. And the bottom of the door they showed us was real in bad shape. Paint peeling off, real rusty under the weather stripping, doors look really bad. Sale it quick before someone takes a closer look at the body. Nice car, shame the owner didn't clean it up a lot better before throwing some paint on it. Plus we didn't see the other 90% of the car????
