Love those early Hondas, designed and built with so much love.

I bought one like this but blue in 1972. I was 16 and rode it Solo across country from Valparaiso IN to lake Havasu AZ.

That's great! Love it! Mine was red and I rode it all through high school.

Beautiful bike. I have a 71 350 Scrambler. It's been mothballed for ten years. I'm doing a refresh on it now. Gonna put it back on the road next spring.

I enjoy seeing these bikes from the past. I grew up knowing people that had so many bikes you show. 😀

I had a 68 CL350 ant then in 71 I got a new CL350. We raced scrambles back then, riding to the race, stripping lights and fenders, racing, then bolting it all back together and riding home. Occasionally 200 miles each way.

I learned that because the brake/clutch levers were one piece with the switch assemblies, when you crashed the whole assembly would get destroyed (quite expensive). If you removed the little locating pin that aligned the assembly to the bars, the assembly would just move when you crashed.

I bought a 1970 model brand new. If I can say thank you to Mr. Honda, it's my complete pleasure. I rode this bike everywhere and it never let me down. It was flawless in finish and dependability. I will remember this bike in my memories forever. I wish I had every Honda motorcycle I ever had. They were always just a joy to own. When I traded it in, I almost got all my money back. I then purchased a 1972 Honda 750 four. What a machine. This bike could do it all. I rode it and enjoyed every moment. Honda new how to build memories and fun. I took care of my bikes, and they always rewarded me by taking care of me. Then I bought a Gold Wing. What else can I say...Flawless. When I left to go somewhere, there was always confidence I would be coming back with a smile and fond memories.

These 350/450 CLs sound pretty bad-ass when you take the baffles off. This one is in exceptional original shape. -And Honda chrome is on the thin side.

A friend of mine had a 71 SL 350, he changed the low black SL pipes for the high CL pipes. Made the bike much better off road.

Had a CL175 when I was a kid, this would make a great club bike and if I was in the States I'd grab this one

My brother and I had one as kids. We would crash it constantly, causing the brake pedal to bend and crack the primary case. We would straighten out the brake pedal and then tape the case with aluminum tape.

That’s my dream bike. It I’m a broke small business owner who can’t afford a motorcycle. 🤨 I must be stupid.

I’m with ya, I had a dozen or so dirt bikes at one time but they don’t make very good eating if catch my drift. It’s hard to afford anything these days and I miss trail riding terribly. Hang in there we’ll find us another scooter 🐾✌️🇺🇸
