100% And I miss all of the old stadiums. Texas Stadium, The Meadowlands, Veterans Stadium, RFK Stadium and Busch Stadium. All outdoors.

Eagles and Cowboys flip flopped the locations of their week 7 and 10 matchups this season to accommodate the Phillies playing in the World Series. This game had originally been scheduled to be played in Dallas with week 7 initially slated for the Vet

I'll be watching that one again, next..I posted about Dorsett earlier..he just made one of those 'TD' runs, that very few other backs could make..he just burst past and through about 6 tacklers for a 30-yard 'TD', lol..

Man Dallas should have won more super bowls in the 80s

NFC was loaded back then, Redskins, Giants, 49ers and Bears.

They were an older team in the 80s plus when Staubach retired Danny White just couldn't win the big game.

Ni no they Shouldn't have. ADC teams weren't just going to lay down and let them. We had chances and weren't good enough

About the only time the Eagles game was shown on local TV was when the Cowboys or Redskins came there.

I grew up in northeast Ohio and the only time the Browns home games were on was when the Steelers came to town or the were hosting Monday Night Foods. Those games were always sold out. My uncle would go to the track on Sundays because they had a satellite dish and show all Browns home games that were blacked out locally.

Longtime Staubach era fan! Just realized I saw The Who in that stadium 6 years later. Cool.

2:07:30 ...it occurs to me that in a desperation situation, this kind of throw - even into double-coverage - might be a better bet than heaving it down near the endzone and hoping your three receivers can outjump/outwrestle their 6-7 defenders for the ball. Spread things out and see if your guy can split the two DBs - why not?

This is one year before the Cowboys completely went bad….I really loved how much respect these teams had for the Cowboys white uniform.

A Dallas and Raiders super bowl would have been great. Dallas wouldn't have been blown out 38-9

I see that you're using that same score between the Cowboys rivals of that particular Super Bowl 18 of that season. 😆.

Dallas would have won

But didn’t the Cowboys get blown out by the Redskins in the playoffs?
