Remember watching this game as a 12 yr old boy in New England. Dolphin games in the Orange Bowl were always the most exciting games in the NFL at that time.

So amazing they thought defensive players would be able to quiet crowd. Young kids today would not believe it watching this. I was there, also at '81 game when Vermeil coached Eagles on MNF and tried to get penalty called on Dolphins. Shula so pissed cuahgt wearing by sideline camera lol. The closed end of OB was legendary with how loud. Also good viewing Pink Floyd concert few years later lol, covered from rain and could smoke :) in peace getting high hearing Shine On, etc. blaring throughout stadium

Carroll Rosebloom vs Joe Robbie and Don Shula too bad that Super Bowl never happen but the Dolphins beat the Colts in the 1971 Playoff game

Remember this game. My brother was a Cowboys fan and Boogered me about Danny White vs David Woodley. I told him then , unless trade for Ferragamo or draft Marino, I'll stick with Woodley. The next year, drafted Marino!

Dick Vermiel on color commentary. His first year in the booth after resigning as Eagles head coach at the end of 1982. 15 years later he would return to the NFL as the Rams head coach.
