+1 for not ripping it down the driveway on essentially someone else's bike. Sounds good, sounds smooth.

I liked the ending of the video description and have enjoyed watching your videos. I too have to let go toys to purchase news one. Latest project, has been aquiring parts to a honda 250es big red. Its good to see someone else who does not have an endless supply of money and appreciates keeping vintage machinery roadworthy.

Damn... I would not be able to let a sexy bike like that go, even if it's in rough shape.

@hulk182003 Thanks man, bringing these worthy bikes back from junk status and onto the road again on a budget is what I'm all about. And oh I had a 250 big red a while back, but I traded it for a KZ305, another project down the line. Fun little machine tho.

Sorry man, its been so long I really can't remember. I seem to recall tho that I was searching around on kzrider I think, and I found the recommended jet setting for pods, altho it still ran a little lean so I had to bump it up one step richer. Sorry I couldnt be of more help

I have this bike and can't find any side cover replacements anywhere. Your makeshift ones look decent though.

What's the bike with the most miles you've ever bought? The dealership where I bought my current bike is selling one with 190k miles on it. That's crazy I've only put on 3k miles in the last year.
