I had a 89 Accord 2dr trunk DX in Manual transmission carburetor. That car did way better than the SUV in the snow and Ice storm.

Literally just finished installing a reman R&P on my '87 LX-i which has the same brand rack as yours you definitely need to find the center of the rack before installing it(or as close as you can get). Mine was 3⅛ turns from lock to lock It has to be turned all the way to the left to remove and install easily. You dont need to split the old rack at all but I did anyways and it made more of a mess. You still have to lower the subframe and all that stuff which sucks

Yeah wish I knew about having to turn the rack to left before removing. I have it installed and working now. Thanks for updates and any assistance for others.

@@petescarport no problem! I was glad to throw in my experience! My issue now is that because I installed new radius rod bushings, I have to readjust them so my outer tie rods actually go into place without being bottomed out on the inner tie rod. The new radius rod bushings moved my lower control arms back about an inch or more

The vigor was the worst due to its 5 cyld motor. It was the Legends that Honda/Acura actually did good on. If you can find a Legend in manual trans that something to restore
