I was really disappointed with the Toy Biz Super Powers knockoffs. Kenner Robin is way better.

Wayyyyyyy better. I don’t know if you have any Kenner figures or ToyBiz figures from your youth but I still own my Kenner Robin … all the ToyBiz figures I owned broke, I think. I don’t own any from my youth because they didn’t last. Like you said, they’re “Super Powers Knockoffs.”

@@RealHectorCanales I def saved a few Kenner Super Powers from back then. I still have Robin, Superman, Aquaman, Green Lantern and a few others. The New Super Powers are pretty nice but I wish they would do different characters (and more villains) instead of Batman variants/repaints.

@maximusprime3459 agreed! I wish they also had “Super Powers” like the originals. They’d cost a bit more, but it would be fun to squeeze their legs and have them do something cool.

The batarang that came with Toybiz Robin is different from the one included with Batman. Robin's loop is solid, where as Batman's has an open loop to feed his spring loaded belt hooks into.

Thanks for the info! Both of mine have have an open loop. Maybe it was a mistake by ToyBiz (which is highly likely) or … it was probably a mistake 🤷🏻

I think the super powers Robin still holds up pretty nicely wish Kenner made Nightwing in his first costume

That’s why I bought the McFarlane Super Powers Nightwing, just to see… just to see if I’d be willing to crap open one of my beat up Robins and transfer all good things into the Nightwing.

@@RealHectorCanales not a fan of McFarlane's super powers personally since they made them too tall to work with the originals and the sculpts make the figures look like cake toppers

I’m not a a huge fan… I’ve got Superman & Darksied (because I found them on clearance) and Nightwing and Deathstroke (because they actually have a super powers design to them), but what I do recommend is the vehicles. They are pretty darn great. Highly recommend. I’ve got an unboxing video on them.

Super powers is better, but you can definitely pull the arm up higher on the toybiz without "overwinding the mechanism!" My toy biz robins still all work fine all these years later

lol, I didn’t know what to call it but you understood what I was trying to say. Playing them feels dangerous as I remember breaking a few as a kid and even recently unboxing Batman… only for it to be broken already.

@ryanspalding8478 I was so excited for it! As a kid, my original one didn’t break. I lost the cape, but that’s about it. So I was thrilled to play with it again. Not so much afterwards.

I like it Batman for it is my faborat action hero of ever time. Where is he? For I want to see it more.
