just wondering, is there a specific reason you don't place the jack stands under the pinch welds?

Hey, some people place them there but I personally don't trust them as I've seen other people damage their rx7s in the past and that can leave you a huge welding bill if they get damaged. Mx5s are even worse. So just for safety reasons and to avoid any damage I put the axle stands under the wishbones and keep a little bit of pressure on the jack which is on the pinch welds, I've never had a problem personally. Wow what pully set do you have installed? Is the intake paint just normal paint or does it have heat management properties?

hey, thanks for your positive feedback. The pulley set was from a company called DM Motorsport but they are no longer in business so these pulley are now a rare item to find. Try looking on Essex rotary or Elite rotary's website for something similar. The paint I used on the intake pipes & intercooler was gloss black engine paint which can handle the heat without the paint cracking. I've had that on the car now for over 2 years and it looks exactly the same as it did when I first sprayed it.
