Great review. I bought a 97 Accord LX with 282,000 miles last year for $1200. It was driven by an old lady and well taken care of. I got a steal. Starts immediately just like this one does. Runs and accelerates excellently. AC/heat blow cold. Uncle drove it five hours to Houston and five hours back no problem. Now over 286,000 miles and still running strong.

Had a 93 special edition from factory. Silver 5 speed coupe with sun roof. That motor had 400k on it and 400k plus on the clutch. The car is bullet proof. I shot a spark plug through the hood once. Pulled over got a new spark plug screwed it in and she started right back up

The tie rods and bushings blew out one day going 80 mph on highway and wheel folded under car. Got 3 more years after that. Then hydroplaned it into a sign and tore off ass end. Just stuck new bumper and spray paint like new again. But eventually gave it to.a buddy of mine. He had a 93 silver accord wagon 5 speed. Every time i sae him he asked about my Honda. Saw him about 4 months ago he has my old honda looking brand new pushing over 660plus up and around 500 ft lbs torque out of the same motor that had 400k on it when I sold it.

My Father helped me purchase my first car ever in 2005-2006. A 4 door 93 Honda accord. The owners name was Robert Blake 😂😂😂. But he was already in his late 60s early 70s. I miss that car.

So clean. I can't believe it. The last CB7 I rode in had 370,000 miles!

i'm a firm believer in well engineered cars that are fun to drive and will last pretty much forever. you can own them outright, take them wherever you want, rely on them, and enjoy the fact you drive a piece of rolling Japanese history. parking on the side of the road with this CB7 and then my 1992 celica behind it was just so epic to look at. People can say what they want but they just dont build things like they used to.... not saying new cars suck but eventually those will get old too and by then the automotive landmarks of the 90's will long be junked away.

It really sucks that most people don't see the value in these cars. Almost every CB7 I've seen on the road, is in absolutely poor shape, and rusted out. And then you've got the people who buy these and heavily modify it.

I find it funny because it's the clean stock ones like this that get more attention at the gas station too. my old celica was all beat up, it got some attention for being a convertible but compared to the one i have now i get stopped at least once a week and bombarded with comments.

I own a 90 LX and it's modded out, Interior and I am working on the exterior, Has diamond Stitched leather seats in it, Black/brown, I am surprised the kid who owned it before me didn't get rid of any of the stock parts on it, It looks fancy with the seats and interior work done on it, Still looks like a drug dealer car, But it's not all beat to shit and rusted out so I am in the process of changing some parts on it to make it look nice again.

Nice review. I got hooked in wondering if this was my Rosewood Brown Metallic '93 Accord EX but it's an automatic and there's no hard wired Motorola car phone mounted at the base of the dashboard in the passenger footwell. This video really takes me back though. I should have never sold that car. I wonder if it's still driving around Short Pump and the West End of RVA. Great car!

I had a 93 special order from factory. Was 93 5speed coupe in silver. Drove that car for 12 years anf its been maybe 8 since I got rid of it but once I saw that red interior I remembered the red interior. In the 12 years I drove this car I saw thousands of 93 accords but never another silver 5 speed coupe. Even had the sun roof and those stupid tiny windows in back. I had the tiny windows Jerry rigged to a tiny motor and mechanism that if u pushed a button they opened and closed. That car was the best. Worse decision I ever made was getting rid of that for a 2005 coupe. I loved the 2005 it was murdered out black on black in black with nice chrome rims

Why does a 93 Accord get chrome door handles while my '00 Camry has cheap plastic ones? Mine even broke off, both the outside and inside handles :p

The stock auto shifter is from a 1990-91 ex or se model since it has a button to increase engine output a bit. Honda eliminated that feature in the 1992-93 model years.
