@@STP43FAN1 I can confirm it's true. SO glad he didn't. Hall Of Fame players signing with another team after spending 15 years or so with the one that drafted them almost never ends well. BTW Marino retired on my birthday.

Up until the Bills playoff game, this as the one time I was proud of my team in defeat. It's a damn shame coming back from 28 down to tie wasn't rewarded with a win. It might have been if Shula hadn't decided for some weird reason to go for it on 4th and goal down 10 instead of just taking the FG, meaning the later TD they scored still left them on the short end. And his decision to go for 2 for no reason down 28-6 cost him Terry Kirby for the rest of the season. Not Shula's finest game.

Strange irony, MIA wins this nfc game, they would tie SD chargers at 11-5-0 get a bye and not have to play KC. Play SD @ MIA in AFC champ game, win and probably win the 49ers SB. or CLE @ SD afc champ. But yeah, MIA was a great team there.
