What size pipe did you do? Wanting to do flowmaster outlaws true dual
@bradenhanson30462 жыл бұрын
Hell yeah! I'd say go for it! True dual would be bad ass! The pipe starting at the header is a test pipe, I believe it's 2 1/2 or something like that. Mid pipe was stock, bolted right to it. And the tail was a whopping 3 inches, connected with a welded on coupler! Thanks for your interest!
@dominicramos2340 Жыл бұрын
Couple questions, did you weld a 2.5" onto the 2" inlet and outlet? did you use the stock exhaust pipe cut to the side? or after market pipe??

It's the shorty! Thanks for the comment! Still have it on to this day.

What size lift are you running?
@bradenhanson3046 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the question! It's a 4 inch, just went the cheaper route with Rough Country but people are always telling me that it appears to sit pretty high for a 4. I noticed that too. Perfect for around here though!

@@bradenhanson3046 I was looking at the same, RC doesn’t get too good of reputation but for the price you can’t beat it. I don’t see much reason to invest too much into a ‘94 Yours looks good though! Are those 31” or 33”?
@bradenhanson3046 Жыл бұрын
@@backroadracing5449 For sure! And thanks for the compliment! I agree with you that there's no need to go all out on an old ranger like this. Lol I mainly considered RC because someone was generous enough to gift me the set while it was on sale out of the blue. I can say that it doesn't ride as smooth as it use to but being able to sit up higher is really nice makes me feel like I'm actually in a truck rather than a car. Haha But it's not as bad as I initially thought it was gonna be. I mean, you get use to it pretty quick and don't even notice it after awhile if I'm honest. Atleast from my experience. Worth the investment in my opinion if you want a cheap lift. I've had it on for how many years and everything is still going good so far. And I'm rolling on 32x11.50s. I tried 33's before and they also fit well. I dont recall any rubbing. Would be nice to get wider trims though, but it's not a necessity with this current setup.

@@bradenhanson3046 I think I can handle that lol, I appreciate the response. I’ve got a ‘94 Splash that I’m getting cleaned up to be my daily beater. I think I’m sold on the 4” lift I’ve got a set of 15x10 wheels that I plan on running 31s

@@backroadracing5449 Man, my dad has a Splash as well. Regular cab, 4x4, standard, with the 3.0. Those Splash pickup trucks aren't easy to come by nowadays. If I happened to see one for sale I'd try my best to pick it up. Lmao But to each their own. Should be a lot of fun though. 👊 And no problem at all my man. Gonna be sick when complete. Goodluck. 💯

Is it stock besides the muffler??
@bradenhanson30462 жыл бұрын
For the most part, yes. It does have an aftermarket cold air intake under the hood, but it was just a cheapy off of Ebay. It already came undone once from all the bumps around here, so probably going to throw the stock system back on. Has a cat delete. 3 inch tail after the mid pipe ran out the side to a 4 inch tip. That's about it. 🙏 Thanks for watching.

sadly flowmasters flow more noise than air.if they increased power as much as sound, they may actually be worth the money. but they dont.
@jasonconaway69 Жыл бұрын
Incorrect. These Outlaw mufflers are designed for race cars that require some type of muffler. They flow very well, another reason why they are Flowmaster’s loudest mufflers.
