I'm pretty much stock, other then turbo back exhaust, e3 16g, had 1g aluminum radiator with Perma cool 10" fans, temps where always above 200*, when in boost 220+, got tired of it, order a oem lower heat shield, put in a oe replacement 1g radiator, oem fans. Now I'm at a nice 176 to 180. When I boost I warm up to 205. There's nothing like stocks fans, this is with my fmic and ac condenser still in the car.

I'll add this is in my 2g, went with a 1g radiator because of the upper hose location.

Oh, the tiny bubbles constantly coming up are normal when bleeding the coolant system 🤣, I thought my head gasket blew (freshly rebuild engine)

P.i.t.a. my 2g, a/c a must in California so I have all the ac components, fp68hta v3, spal 12 and 11 inch in ac side, pull position, I still see 220 Temps. I have fans set up on ecuflash come on at 212 and turn off at 205. My next project is slant the intercooler to allow air to flow over and into the engine compartment

I've been testing an idea that has helped me reach better temps. Previous to this upload I would get 203-206 cruising on the highway, they'd climb up to 219 slowly. Almost like the cooling system couldn't handle the influx of ac evaporator heat coupled with the radiator. My next video I'll share all the details. It's a pretty simple solution. So far with the 170 thermostat and ecmlinks coolant offset set to +8 degrees I'm logging 187-203 with ac on cruising 70mph. My next video goal is to get them so low that I have to go back to the 180 t-stat. We will see what happens. Hopefully youll be able to do something similar with shared results 👍👍
