Video was published in 2014 though? Regardless. The lack of the GH is just one component. Towards his death, he had sadly started to take more drugs. Recreational drugs, that is. It wasn’t the roids that got him. It was the damn oxys and whatever else he was doing for his pain.

It doesn’t matter if you go completely to the ground. As long as you keep pumping up and down to get the muscle working overtime. Don’t rest at the top. 1. It’s more pressure on your knees.

Incognito unless you tear something, there is no such thing as overdoing it man. the gym is for breaking the muscle down, the kitchen and bed are for building it up. If you broke something down, its going to hurt. this is a good thing. Ask any pro and they will agree.
@Dr.WhetFarts
@Dr.WhetFarts 9 жыл бұрын
caleb TAYLOR don't compare natural lifting with pro's which are almost certainly on steroids in one form or another. if you walk like a 98 year old man, you overdid it. ask any good coach who knows about natural lifting. hitting muscles several times a week with less volume is much better for naturals.

I love leg day! I'm 6'1" 200lbs with 26" quads. Ppl trip out because I'm not a huge built guy I'm lean and getting cut. But for me legs are my easiest workout because I love doing them. I do different styles of squats to get all parts of my muscles involved. I tore my acl 13 years ago at the age of 12 docs told me that I wud need surgery when I got older for it but I never have so far and I can squat 495 5 sets of 12-15 reps. So it's all about getting flexibility and figuring out your body and what works for you as rich said you can't always follow other peoples workouts. I've tried all different routines and crap but I've found that doing squats is still the biggest and best workout for your legs. I'll do heavy 5 sets then drop sets to burn out. One thing rich said that's true is don't rest at the top I never lock my legs out so I always have the weight on my legs to keep that burn/pain so blood gets forced into the muscles. You can build big legs by doing basic squats, leg ext and leg curls. My buddy has always had skinny legs until I helped him build up and in 4 months he went from 15" to 23". Work hard and get that burn/pain to force blood into muscles.
@MrJesus100

I know my legs r thin but it's because I play soccer and run everyday. I know how to make them grow a lot bigger easily for me. I've been up to 31 1/4 before but right now I'm trying to get my upper body to grow more and I'm not lifting as much wit my legs like I normally wud wen I want them to grow. My legs grow fast and really easy for me. I play so much right now so I don't grow fast. But ya my legs do look kinda skinny for me if ur looking at me as a bodybuilder but I'm a soccer player that loves to lift and look good wit some size. But ya I understand wat ur saying about my height to leg size kinda true.
@MrJesus100
@MrJesus100 10 жыл бұрын
Just because ur natural doesn't mean u can squat a lot of weight for reps. Most soccer players that have big strong legs can do that because they work their legs a lot making them strong as well as football players. U don't have to be on juice to be able to do high weight for reps. So shut your mouth if you don't know shit about it. I workout with guys who can do heavy for reps and are all natural.

you can put on muscle by doing 8-12 reps. 20 reps is swaying more to the muscular endurance side of the continuum.
@romaniandeadlifts
@romaniandeadlifts 10 жыл бұрын
no not really. Stength and hypertrophy is shown to be more prominent between 1-12 repetitions. Going beyond 20 starts integrating different muscle fibers ( slow twitch/type 1 ) and you start veering away from stength/hypertrophy and start entering the realms of muscular/cardiovascular endurance. This is very well studied and is the one of the key principles of strength training.

A lot of people can't go past traditional 8 to 20 reps on squat sets and I see on this video that you can get away with breaking the squats into sets of 3 to 5 reps.

I agree on the thing that it is stupid to follow another guys routine! UNLESS you are a beginner. If someone with years of knowledge, helps a beginner with a routine it will most definately help out. If you are a beginner getting help from a friend that you can trust is like a workout with a free coach or personal trainer. In a couple of months or so you will understand some basics, and develop your own routine. If you cant work on your own, or figure things out on your own, an Iron Sport is not your thing.
