One of Agnetha's fave musicians was Peter Cetera who also produced this album. Imo best track is 'The Last Time" the lead single.Splendid.Peter Cetera also does backing vocals to many songs.

Hey Sue .. I don't mind this song, although when compared to the rest of Agnetha's solo work that I've heard so far, it's not up with my favourites .. But it is quite a nice listen, and as always I just enjoy hearing her beautiful voice .. I'm up for any more Agnetha you want to play !

Never really tried to push this in US despite Cetera Like most it feels like a let down after Abba The last song for me was Winner take it All Not anything past that

I agree that there is very little of any of the ABBA members' solo work that can compare to the fantastic stuff that the group put out .. But just on ABBA alone, I'm surprised you say that there was nothing worthwhile after "The Winner Takes It All" .. I would have thought that at least some of the songs off their very good "The Visitors" album would have been of interest to you, such as the edgy title track .. I also quite like a number of tracks off "Voyage".

@@wayne_twentyfive i agree The Visitors has some good tracks and chronologicaly comes after Winner Takes it All I just remember how powerful that video and message was , there was no coming back I guess i can only compare it to Let it Be and Abbey Road coming after The Beatles were over even though A.R is one of their finest records

I'm not really aware of Agnetha's solo work but this seems a bit anaemic compared to the great Abba years. I can't imagine I'll be humming or whistling this tomorrow ! Sorry Agnetha!

Only produced by Peter Cetera Written by Austin Roberts, Beckie Foster and Bill LaBounty. Got to admit, not my favourite. She has far better solo works in my opinion - especially in Swedish!

That seems rather a harsh and unfair comment regarding Agnetha .. You are entitled to prefer Frida's voice, but how can you say Agnetha is "weak on her own" ? .. If you mean that her voice is weak without Frida's voice accompanying her ( as it often did in ABBA songs ), then you are ignoring all the widely acknowledged great solo lead vocals she did with ABBA, such as in "The Winner Takes It All" .. But if you are referring to how she sounds in her solo career, then the weakness you are highlighting is not with Agnetha's voice but the material she was performing and the quality of the recordings in comparison with the super-strong ABBA productions .. IMHO, there is no way you could reasonably call her voice weak.

Secondly, you need to check your facts before making such unfounded statements as "she actually doesn't have that great a vocal range" .. Agnetha in fact has quite a large recorded vocal range, from low alto to high soprano, and is also well known for her proven ability to hit high sustained notes powerfully and effortlessly .. As I said, you are free to not like her voice .. That's fine .. Everyone is entitled to their opinion .. But you are totally incorrect to make such inaccurate statements of fact, as you have done here .. Take care.

@@Vikinggirl1679 Frida didn't have a very big solo career either .. They both had great voices .. It wasn't their voices that was the problem .. It was the weaker material they had post-ABBA .. Please go and enjoy your opinions, which weird as they may be are yours to own .. But please leave the analysis stuff about vocal ranges etc to others .. You're really not good at it .. Cheers !
