2:02:78 new personal best at Thunderhill East in the E46. Down from a 2:04:58.
Was faster than my 2 year old F80 lap before I sub 2’d a few weeks back.
I'd say 75% of the new pace is from V730 vs cycled RS4 tires. The other 25% is driver mod.
The weather was also pretty perfect, 50 degrees.
There is probably another second on the table with the current car setup and rubber. Going to have to grow some balls on the later half of the track to gain that time. Catalyst shows the last 1/3 of the track as the big time difference compared to my F80's sub 2 lap.
The E46 is faster than the F80 from Turn 2 all the way to Turn 6. Higher min speeds in the tighter, more technical part. The F80's speed just gaps in the last half of the lap. Spent a good bit of time comparing the sub 2 trace.
Fucking gopro failed agaaaaain. Only during this session...
Happened the last time I PB'd at east and also failed a few weeks ago at west. Catalyst FTW tho.
All I want is to hear my juicy intake noises and have a quality reference :(
The best I got on gopro was a 2.03 flat
