Thanks for the video. Am about to swap from 2.7 to 3.5. So as to avoid any problems I bought a complete Dodge Magnum 3.5L car to replace 2.7 in Dodge Charger. What else do I need ? Should I change the transmission, and harness?

Not the transmission just use the harness that comes with the 3.5

Sup man great vid.. i did this swap on my 2008 Dodge Charger and for some reason she i plug my PCV hose to the intake it’s building up too much air in the engine so I’ve been driving around wit the hose unplugged i get the code po171 and p0174 .. i changed the pcv valve and same problem .. any recommendation would help please

I had that problem for like 15 minutes but I had the two trans harness plugs in the wrong place they are the same connection I just had to switch the and put them in the right place

I did the swap from a 2005 Chrysler 300 to a 2008 dodge magnum. I had got the engine with the transmission and dropped it right in but it keeps me in 2nd or 3rd gear. Do I need to put my original transmission back in? I’ve been hearing my computer is searching for a sensor that’s in my original transmission. Nobody wants to fool with it when I call!

Does the red cable that runs along the passenger side from the fuse box going down by the PCM seperate from the rest of the engine wire harness? Or is that apart of the engine wire harness ?

@@damienespinoza7970 yes I did put the motor on it but is the connection harness that got me confused about because mine doesn't have the 2.7 upper intake don't have any connections for the runner.and we're I'm located in CT is hard to find parts for it my transmission it have the 5 plug connector like the one in the video but nothing for the upper intake

Its might not work bro,the computer and all the electronics are older. The older 2.7 is set up different,you'll be spending a lot of money. Just get another motor that's your best bet
