@@mpetersen6 3.5L is bad for sludging also - people recommend you change the oil every 3000 over the 7500 that Dodge recommends. PCV valves go bad every 30K miles too.

Did you use the 4.0 short block? That would be so much easier than grinding main bearing caps. My 3.5 is getting tired and I would like to do something like this. The engine has been great to me

My 3.5l 300 has 183000 miles and runs great!. I e replaced the waterpump and the timing chain. Other than that just basic maintenance. I wanna add a cold air intake and dual exhaust

Racing Ram Fam Sounds like your stuck in open loop!. Ect must be checked and AF ratio. One bank isn't open looping with the other. Check map pressure or gasket leaks

Timing belt kit, rear camshaft gaskets there triangle in shape and rocker arms if yours has more than 100,000 miles on it

Yes it’s the same engine in a 300m and would work. And it’s the pistons and rods and crankshaft out of the 4.0l v6 engine

What code reader are you using?

It an OTC Genysis EVO. There are several versions. You only want 3.0 or higher. Probably newer versions s out now. They are very slow to load, like 5 minutes. Then if you shut them off wrong, it take take 30 minutes to restart them. If you want live stream data, most any newer better quality scanner has that capability. There are phone apps with external dongles that will do the same thing for a reasonable cost.
