I don't own a tractor, was looking at a kioti...once I justify the purchase. I was thinking about s thumb and how great it'd be, since I'd really be using it all for firewood. 400 is cheap...looks well built too

The pin on mine seem to be a little too small where it passes through the bucket. It’s probably a quarter inch smaller than the factory one. Is that right?
@tractorrookie2 жыл бұрын
😳Hi Backdraft! Definitely should not be a quarter inch difference. That sounds like way too much play! Hopefully wherever you picked it up, can get you the right pins. Tractor supply also carries a good assortment of pins. Good luck ! You will enjoy use it , it’s a a lot of fun. Thanks for checking out the video, one of my first. 🇺🇸🚜🍺

1/2 in metal is not stout enough I installed one that I bought from Titan first log that I gripped it snapped in half. The claws need to be thicker metal
@tractorrookie4 жыл бұрын
🌟👍 Interesting! I have been using the thumb over the passed year with no issues. Maybe I baby it too much. Titan makes some pretty decent stuff, but shit happens I guess. I’ve been happy with the factory thumb so far. Thanks for watching!🚜😎🇺🇸🍺

@@tractorrookie I do believe that it was a bad piece of metal. The man that I spoke to at Titan didn’t seem to care so I will build my next one using 3/4 metal
@tractorrookie4 жыл бұрын
That’s awesome that you have the skills to get it done. Not too happy to hear about Titan! 🙁

There are 2 different companies that use the titan name. Titan attachments and Titan Implements. One is a good manufacturer and one is all Chinese products imported and sold for cheap online that never last.

I am pretty sure that is the same backhoe as the bobcat BH76 I have on my bobcat ct 2025 ,I have been looking at pics and I believe Michigan equipment makes them but for a higher price these days which may lead me to just paying a little more for a bobcat one .

😊👍 Interesting! I have seen a few aftermarket units. I’m with you on getting it from the brand you buy. I think the plug and play is a sure fit and I think the resale value would be better. Thanks for checking out the video!🚜🇺🇸🍺

Hello, I just bought my first tractor and the same unit... a Kioti CK1035 SE.. (after a year of research) being enjoying your vids... just bought the thumb kit trough my dealer but chose to install it myself.. but nobody had a vid on the install... mine did have instructions though... 🙂I have to say it was straightforward but,,, with the paint on the parts and everything being new I cannot for the life of me change or adjust it...it's sooooo stiff to move it. Did you experience this? have to use the hydraulics on the bucket to help move it and line up the holes. Thanks.. and keep up the good work, you have a beautiful property !
@tractorrookie3 жыл бұрын
😊👍 Hi Mike! Awesome! Congratulations on your new tractor! The backhoe thumb is great and a very fun little tool to have. The tolerances on mine were not tight at all, it is very easy to adjust. I’m not sure what would help, maybe a little grinding?😎💪 I appreciate you checking out the videos and leaving feedback. If you have any issues or questions, don’t hesitate to reach out. Good luck with your new ride! Be safe!🍺🚜🇺🇸

@@tractorrookie now knowing you did not have the same Issue, I think I'm going to pull it apart again and wire wheel off the paint in the inside where the shaft and big pin goes through, I will just keep it well oiled to help prevent from rusting...... Thanks for the impute 👍

My kubogy equalivelent for a bigger bh92 from the dealer (kubogy brand) was at a low-low price of 946.oo$ ---what a rip! It is VERY strongly built, wish it was hydraulicly actuated;; they just want a measly 1995.oo$ to rig it up right!! I by-passed the 2000$ idea and just jump on&off the tractor 40-50 times a day to "dial" it in properly--- what a pain. Going to "rig" some hydralics up someday soon to end my suffering and use it much more effectualy. Kubogy doesen't make it easy to do it aftermarket though---different pins, odd-ball legths,& goffey positioning. They want you to "pay" if you want to play. So go "hydraulic" sone as possible & don't be a "hard-head, cheep-skate" like me. I have used other machines, with the "hydraulic thumb" and the difference is like night&day!!! Just go for it and thanks for vidio Man.
