I wonder if you put a "shit ton" of torque on that would the case deform around the shaft due to the thinner metal...

It feels decently thick and sturdy, so I think you could wrench it pretty heavily. However that could be a concern if you went really crazy with it

The bit bar looks ok , but I think the wrench is overpriced and is quick to loosen as you use it. For less than $50 I can get KNIPEX Tools 86 03 125, 5-Inch Mini Pliers Wrench with a 23MM opening and which applies grip pressure to the nut as you apply force to the tool. Hence NO slippage.

Anyway, in the many times I've used them over the years I can tell you that they actually really come in handy. Many times I've been out and about and I need a screwdriver
