Appears to be abuse of authority on two sides; the caller requesting his “good” friend likely knew or should have known, his claims would be escalated AND the supervisor’s response to the caller does appear to have been executed with greater speed and manpower than others would receive for a simple nuisance call. WHY are individuals given this concierge service not billing or held accountable for such special service!

Maybe people need to start foia requesting this paper 🤔 SEC. 111. (a) The head of each Federal agency or department shall- (1) provide each new employee of the agency or department with educational and training materials concerning the United States Constitution as part of the orientation materials provided to the new employee; and (2) provide educational and training materials concerning the United States Constitution to each employee of the agency or department on September 17 of each year. (b) Each educational institution that receives Federal funds for a fiscal year shall hold an educational program on the United States Constitution on September 17 of such year for the students served by the educational institution. It also provided that the designation of September 17th be changed from Citizenship Day to “Constitution Day and Citizenship Day.” Even though it must be admitted that the federal budget as passed is filled with items the federal government should not be involved in, still it requires every school and government entity which receives federal money to instigate a program to teach the Constitution. It must also be admitted that, if left to those in charge, the “teaching” will probably be greatly lacking in quality and accuracy with regards to the Constitution in the tradition of the Founding Fathers. Therefore the National Center for Constitutional Studies (NCCS) is assuming a pro-active position in the effort and we are determined to supply quality materials for those to use who will be implementing

Your rights and freedoms are not worth the paper they are written on. If you need money to enforce your rights and freedom. When I was 18 I was pulled over for the first time for the same bs of “matching a description.” Cops were looking for a silver Toyota celica (2 door) and I had a white Honda civic (4 door), yet I was still pulled over and questioned. Gave the same “I don’t answer questions” response and called the cop a moron since the cars look nothing alike. My First traffic stop ended in a false arrest due to a fragile ego, my court date kept getting pushed back for 15 months while I was told to take a plea deal and take a misdemeanor trespassing charge. I refused, finally went in front of a judge, and it was immediately dismissed

Dude that's what they do. When the corruption begins and ends with the department, as in there's no local judges in on the crap, they prolong your process, and use that as a form of torture. An uncertain future and multiple upcoming court dates makes taking a plea and a minor charge look cushy. They hope this is what you'll do. They want you to lose the energy needed to prove you are innocent, by spending it on attempting to begin the process so hopefully your so burnt out by the time it even gets close to actually beginning, you just want it to end and will take the fine and single mark on your record just to get on with life. Because as soon as it reaches the judge it's dismissed you tho required probably wouldn't even have to show up to court because usually they read and reference the case and he or she throws it out on the spot no questioning no examination no anything when the judge is of the law it's blatantly obvious what's going on and they refuse to waste their time on it like the cops did yours. You probably wouldn't even get roll called in most cases, they just acknowledge it, throw it out, move onto something more serious. Again, tho required usually, you'd never even have to be in the room and if you weren't they'd never know. This is a by the book way of how police officers who have their own motives and agendas catch bad guys. They literally create them.

To the OP If SCOTUS has said what you claim, how do explain the exceptions to these imagined protections. Would obscenity be included or can that be determined to be unlawful? What exactly are fighting words? Can obscene and vulgar words be indicative of fighting words? Would a threat be protected speech so long as it contains swear words? Don't forget, time, place and manner can make any speech, any presences, the exercise of any right, unlawful. In short, this fantasy of protected rights doesn't hold up if exceptions can be so readily and easily created. In many places disorderly conduct only requires another person to claim to be disturbed, threatened or offended by your speech. There exist community standard laws involving the utterance of profanity around children. The right to peaceful assembly is negated by any trespass being available to any public employee, for public property. Loitering laws also almost always violate the first amendment. The first amendment either says what it says and means it, or it has no authority, no power, no protection at all. There are no exceptions in the first amendment. It protects in absolute. If in fact it has any force at all. The moment I show even one exception the question becomes, is there protection or not. The answer is No protection. You are allowed, permitted or licensed by the state to exercise these acts. They are not rights protected if such protection can exist only within the law, only exist at the pleasure of the state. We just watched a video that if we believe there are no such things as rights. The video makes perfect sense. We understand the officers acted very professionally and appropriately. No violations occurred, force was justified. If we instead try to pretend some fantasy of protected rights exists. We end up trying to argue whether this speech or that speech is permitted under the law. If the time place and manner of could make even mere presence a crime, speech criminal, assembly, protest or redress. We end up arguing over minute criteria, distinction without difference. We come to inconsistent conclusions, even citing case law and observable reality the inconsistencies increase with clarity decreasing. Logic demands we take the evidence and see where it leads not start with a conclusion and rationalize the evidence to fit. Logic suggest we do not actually have protected rights because no "protection" exists of those rights. Much evidence of the suggests those rights are not in fact rights but maybe privileges. We keep getting shown this document, the first amendment and being told it says this but means that. We keep seeing over and over how even the described meaning is routinely, regularly and often violently violated by agents of the state. Nothing protects, nothing stops these violations. In fact there are rarely any significant punitive actions resulting against violators. However, if we simply understand, it's a lie. The state has no intention to protect rights, follow the constitution of allow freedom. This all makes sense. There are no conflicts in what is told and what is observed. The entire situation is easily explained if we get past the false belief that we have constitutionally protected rights, protected by the state, the police, the courts, the law. We can see that laws are regulations against rights, not protection of rights. We can see agents of the state have no interest, desire or incentive to uphold the constitution. The courts, the lawmakers, the executioners have no incentive or interest in limiting their own authority, adhering to the constitution, upholding the protections of rights. In fact the constitution and it's protections not only empower the state, they are also the greatest hindrance to the state acting. We are left with arguing between what is. That which we observe and can infer. Against that which is written, adjudicated, legislated and executed. We argue the words against the reality, the acts we see. We want to believe, we argue that the courts have said.........but ultimately the courts are a branch of the same state that made the laws, the same state that executes the laws. The highest supreme court justice and the lowest officer all work together. Everyone between, every government employee, has incentive to protect the state, the employer, the power. They have no incentive to protect your rights, to give absolute protection to your freedom. No one has real incentive to protect your rights. Most are willing to give up their own rights to impose against your unwanted unapproved exercise of rights. The less we think we know, the less we believe we know, the more we can actually know, the more is easily explained and understood. Forget what the state tells you, SCOTUS, the courts, the law. Forget what you think the constitution says and means. Just open your eyes and see what you see. If we could manage to ignore what we think we know, we could reverse engineer, determine the laws by what cops do not what we read or hear. We would come to understand. There are no rights only allowances. We cannot have weapons unless allowed. We cannot speak unless allowed. We cannot move or be present unless allowed by law. All it takes is a reason, an excuse, a desire on the states part and the constitution ceases to have meaning. Emergency powers, imminent domain, forced servitude, internment, forced taxation. Whatever the issue, whatever the topic, the same logic applies. Stop believing what you think you know when the observable reality shows otherwise. If the police committed violations of the highest law of the land. This video would be irrefutable proof of criminal acts. Of civil violations. If protection existed these acts would have been prevented, stopped, punished. But if we accept that no such protections exist, the state has no interest in rights or freedom. Then everything is as expected. No rights, no violations, no prevention, no intervention, no punishment. No protection. When you point to SCOTUS as the authority you point to the state, the government as being the sovereign, the ultimate authority. You relegate the constitution to something of legal doctrine subject to the court's whims. If you point to the constitution as supreme then you end up with conflict, inconsistencies in court precedent and action. The same conflict witnessed in laws, policing and policy. The creation of exceptions for reasons and excuses. The definition and meaning of words inconsistent and ambiguous as necessary. We can allow SCOTUS to be wrong if we point to the constitution. We are required to believe the constitution is wrong if we point to the courts, the law or the state as the authority. You say The Supreme Court of The United States (SCOTUS) has ruled multiple times that profanity is protected speech. They have also ruled multiple times that speech can be censored, criminalized and that profanity alone is neither protected or criminal but can be the basis for criminal speech. Therein lies the danger of allowing the State, The Court to be the authority. To cite only such simplistic things as serve the desired ends. What is the desired goal of the constitution? What are the desired ends of the state, the court? Are they the same? Who cares what SCOTUS has said, what does the Constitution always say? Shall make no laws.....and courts deal with what? Laws?. How can the court even rule on the issue if no law can exist criminalizing the act? Yet you say they have, multiple times. And I say they have ruled both ways, multiple times. Meaning numerous laws have been made, enforced, challenged and upheld. I suggest the constitution has not changed, the meaning of words has not changed but the desired ends of the courts has changed in case to case, time to time, reason to reason. Questions for the author. What do you mean by profanity, what do the courts mean? Why did you segregate speech into a specific type? Does the constitution make a distinction for language? Where is your speech most censored and prohibited if not in a courtroom where you can be charged, arrested, sentenced and punished by the judge for your speech? Are you sure you want to cite the same court that will not allow any openness, any recording or any freedom of speech as the authority on free speech? A judge can swear at a person and no problem. A person swears at a judge and can be held indefinitely on contempt charge. Is this what you mean by citing the court? We are forced to cite the court to explain what is expected and to look at the constitution for what should be. Then we must look at reality to see what is. We cannot cite two authorities and consistently align what is expected and what is. We must adhere to one authority, one definition and one reality. It's only if you allow exceptions that you need to make such excuses such as distinguishing profanity from speech. What you like or agree with from what is not protected. I suggest we either amend the first amendment or we simply adhere to what it says. We either have content based exceptions or we don't. Clearly the reality says we do not have free speech, we have allowable speech and prohibited speech. Where the distinction lies is very unclear but profanity might be a determining factor. Irrelevant to the constitution but distinguishable as an excuse. Just asking, is there free speech or isn't there? Can you read for yourself or do you need the state, the courts to tell you what is meant?

"We got a call" does not constitute a crime. No crime was ever reported. The cops never even had the authority to detain them in the first place. Everything the cops did was in retaliation for practicing their 5th amendment rights and because the SGT is friends with the gas station employee. The curfew thing was a transparent, fabricated reason to arrest them. It's time cops be held responsible for abusing their authority, abolish qualified immunity. The taxpayer (who is their victim in the first place) should not be made to pay for the officer's mistakes. Let them carry insurance and let their premiums rise when they mess up. Let cops pay for their own mistakes like everyone else does.

Obviously those cops tried to find some dirt on them to detain those teenagers. Pretty sure they had fun checking their IDs and showing them their power. What’s not so funny: they found nothing and were wrong in the first place. This all is just stupid and the person from the gas station started all this because he’s good with the Sgt. Just so stupid.

These "officers" didn't have enough on these kids to say any more to them than "hello". According to what's shown here, the cops NEVER IDed the kids as the ones in the store, nor did the store owner make a visual ID. I guess, in this town, being butt-hurt and a friend of a police sargeant gives the police PC to stop and arrest anyone they see.

Then calling them frick and frack and threatsning to unjustly retaliate if they see them again. In no line of professional work would a superior or manager ever accept thia type of behavior when theyre whole job is to deal with the the public directly. At one point they tried to make fun of a guys for working at costco...im always endlessly amazed when some of these cops have families and spouses and wonder just how appauled they would be if they knew thats what they do at "work" and that their whole families livelyhood is hanging by a thread purely due to their lack of integrity.

Qualified immunity is what's wrong with policing in America. Those two words allow law enforcement to not be properly trained, break laws, violate the rights they swore an oath to protect, and to react and escalate based on emotions and ego. You don't need to defund police for a major change in policing, you just need to abolish qualified immunity.
