If these drivers are worried about how long it will take to air up their tyres once through this loose sand , go and buy a Ridge Ryder 160L per min air compressor, heavy as but its pretty fast. Why not take 10 min and let your tyres down, pressures for sand can be anywhere from 8 to 22psi for 4wds. Normally your rear tyres are a little higher if your carrying a heavy load.

Seems to me that you have not watched many of these videos , I have seen plenty of patrols land cruisers and Hilux's getting bogged in them . First time i have seen a Mitsubishi getting bogged in-fact seen more Mitsubishi's towing out clowns in the above mentioned cars than getting bogged .

I went to Fraser not long ago. Went via inskip with a camp trailer. I had been watching a.few vids here and was a bit concerned. Made sure all tyres were down. Picked low range. 2dn gear. Momentum. Got through ok. All i thougjt was great i won't be the star of a vid here. Next problim bit was driving off the barge onto the island. No chance to get momentum and strait into a right hand turn. Almost dug it in but felt it happening and saved it.

Its good to see how useless them low profile tyres are on all these new 4wds. Even the new hilux has dumb 17 inch rims on the sr model.Sr5 is worse with 18s. But people keep saying how good they are. The only decent 4wd left is a Landcruiser. At least it has the power to push a bigger rolling diameter tyre for sand use.

First of all pal, that Mitsubishi ain't no soft off-roader. That vehicle is a beast off road and will go literally anywhere because it has probably the best 4wd system in the business. Secondly, the driver is at fault for getting stuck. He's probably never driven on sand so he's inexperienced. Tires were too hard, should have deflated them a bit and I don't know whether he had the vehicle in sand mode or not. At the end of the day he was inexperienced. Cheers.

Nissan, Ford, Toyota, Volkswagen, Mercedes Benz, haven't attained such a capable 4wd system yet. They are close though but highly unlikely that there's would be good as Mitsubishi's. The facts speak for itself, if you don't believe me. At the end of the day most vehicles are very capable off road, some better on certain terrain then the others. Can't achieve perfection but you can get close to it which is the Mitsubishi's. Your trying to critcize the vehicle but you then move on to comparing the driver to a woman which cleary shows you view women as weak. Seems like you don't know which one to blame 😂. And also, Ford doesn't have a center and rear locker which Mitsubishi does, it only has 1. This alone makes the Mitsubishi more capable. Hope I cleaned up some of your lack of knowledge a bit.
