I realize time team is constrained by budgetary and tv objectives, but their archeological methods are highly destructive and abysmal at best. As soon as I see “time team” , I cringe.

@@MashumiMzaidumr well, the time limit of only 3 days doesnt help with the quality of the dig. They can only dig a tiny fraction of the sites in those 3 days. If there were a ton of these small digs in a site like the castellum it would be very confusing to combine all the different excavation methods, databases and finds to form the broader picture. Look at Vindolanda where they're probably going to be digging for another 100 years!
