2 Huge Pork Escalopes from Lidl

I have bought them many times before they are good but I generally shallow fry them Farm Foods sell them as well exactly the same but under their own name. In fact Farm Foods were selling a chicken version of them during covid I'm thinking they were destined for the catering industry but during covid all the restaurants were closed so they were selling them but I have not seen them since things got back to normal. Oh and by the way they used to be £2.99 but like most other food stuff prices have risen .

They seem like decent value for the size. I think they will need a sauce though, they look abit dry to eat.

I do my own, flatten pork chop or chicken fillet with rolling pin, (cover in cling film whilst doing this). Coat in flour, egg then breadcrumbs. Much cheaper.

Looked pretty decent those escolopes. Looks about the right size also I hate all the tiny portions were are getting these days.

Quorn used to do excellent escallops for vegetarians. Not sure if they still do them, but I haven't seen them for a while.
