This is a 2 ingredient pasta that looks, cooks, tastes, and stores like real pasta. You can cook it fresh or air dry it for long term storage. It's easy to make and tastes so close to the real thing you would be hard-pressed to tell the difference. Whether you are doing dirty keto or low carb and have a craving for pasta, give this easy recipe a try.
Keto/Low Carb Pasta
80 grams of Carbalose flour (plus extra for dusting pasta and board)
1 large egg
Combine flour and egg to make a dough (add water if needed - few drops at a time)
Let set for 20 to 30 minutes wrapped in plastic so it doesn't dry out.
cut into 4 equal amounts and roll out to desired thickness. Cut into desired shapes.
Cook fresh in salted boiling water for about 1-2 minutes or dry uncooked pasta overnight and store in air tight container until ready to use. To cook, drop into salted boiling water for about 10 to 12 minutes.
Use with just like regular pasta
