Before i got to 4 days I accepted I could go a full week.. by the time i got to 10 days I felt confident about a full month and before that it seemed tangible to take the 90 day challenge .. by month 3 i had crushed it for my birthday Christmas and new years so it became a real world target to go for the full calendar year which is where I am 5 months in.

I'm at 51 days, and two nights ago had a dream where I had a drink. I was at some kind of party, and there was alcohol there. I remember not really being tempted to drink or anything like that, but for some reason someone gave me a rum and coke and I just started drinking it. Then I felt guilty about it! It was like "I stopped doing this, why did I just do this and break my streak?" I felt relieved after I woke up and realized it was just a dream, lol.

Hey connor! I know your comment was 2 years ago, but how are you? Sober? Im on day 5 myself……..AGAIN! My weekend binge drinking usually comes from boredom. Ive started just going on walks when it gets to that point. This guy has an awesome channel and some awesome content, plus hes funny. Win win! Not trying to be a hater but his content is 100 times better than that sober leon dude. All his content is the freaking same. Getting sick of seeing his videos pop up tbh 😂😂

I figured out today that when I am hungry I want beer or to just drink. Around 1 I started to go insane and my mind was playing games with me and wanted to just go get some beer. I slowly got dressed and ready to go out of the house because I needed to check the mail anyway and the whole time I was getting ready I was constantly fighting with myself about what to do because I felt like I was freaking out. So I went to the store and bought any drink food items that wasn't beer. I got a special hot cocoa packet, gatorade, dr pepper, cookies, and some other food items. I came home and made the hot cocoa and after drinking that, I didn't want anything else. The beer craving went away. So I think it's best to make sure I am eating regularly.

@@StarAthena16 what kind of sub??? I don't know why, but this morning I had a strong urge to listen to competition Bass music lol. So actually went down to where I shoot my podcast and turned on my subwoofer and monitors and was just blasting bass at like 9:00 a.m. after my roommate left

I quit drinking beer first about 3 months ago. I substitued it with just vodka and juice instead and kept away from beer. Now I am quitting it all. I don't really want to quit it all forever but I am just going to see what happens. I was getting into the habit of but 1-2 half gallons a week of smirnoff vodka about 35%. It was the perfect amount, I never got to trashed becuase it was low in alcohol, but it became a habit every week and it was making me tired and taking up my time. I never drank the 4 days I work a week. But it's nice having my energy back.

I was never sober for 21 years, also not for 18 or 16, what are the legal ages for alcohol where I grew up. My dad told me once he put our passifyers into creamy egglikeur when we had been screamy babys 😅, and I remember, later he let us lick out his egglikeur glasses… some people should not have kids…
