I sell cars and keep it real he is creating lay downs! “Easy sales” Not saying that in a bad way but an educated buyer is honestly an easy sale and usually very fun to work with. When I go to work I ALWAYS want to sell a car. I hope I make a good commission check but the MOST IMPORTANT thing to me is to meet some cool people who I can help out and have a fun time with. Those are ALWAYS the best day regardless of how much money was made.

A few years ago I was looking to buy a new truck. The guy used all of the sales techniques. He asked what payment I could afford. After talking about that for a while, I asked for the final price of the truck. I asked a few times and he would give me the run around. I never got the final price of the truck. I walked out because I wasn't comfortable. He lost a sale that day because of that. A few years later I test drove a new truck at a different dealership, same brand. I even told the salesman i probably wouldn't buy. After the test drive we went to his office and the first thing he did was list the price, current discounts and gave me a trade in value for my car. He then gave me the final cost. He treated me well. If I ever decide to buy a truck, I'll go back to that salesman or at least that dealership

Car salespeople dont serve any real purpose, other than assessing the buyer and trying to steer them into spending the maximum amount of money they can possibly afford. Not really necessary part of "buying" a car. Put the damn price on it. Sell for that price. Done.

@@wecvgb9 Yes the price should be listed. Many years ago I went to a used car lot. There were no prices listed on any of the vehicles. I asked the salesman about the price of a particular car. I don't remember which car. I could sense the hesitation as he thought about it... "Hmmm I could let it go for ... $7,000" or whatever it was. He even bumped that price up a little when I suggested a trade in. I walked away quickly.

I've started looking for a car recently and I've noticed a lot of dealers around me having that no haggle one price type policy. I research their car and come to find out it's overpriced. Usually the miles are way to high for what they charge or there are problems with the internals.
@TheKingOfInappropriateComments
@TheKingOfInappropriateComments 3 жыл бұрын
@@TheRealMrJester What they're basically saying is 'take it or leave it.' When all the other dealerships in your area have the same policy, if you chose to leave it that could mean you end up having to ride the bus. Most people won't choose 'leave it' because they'll just get a car loan and increase the loan term until the monthly payment is something they're comfortable with and that is the auto industry today.

Consumers have asked for one fair price FOREVER. Now that it’s a common practice all of a sudden you are not ok with it. We just can’t win. Of course the avg household spends more on groceries than a car payment but they never get the negative publicity. Grocery store raised all their prices when covid hit. Car dealers lowered their.

While outside the dealer , I offered 19500. They gave me two "offers " I said " take off that recondition fee and you have a deal". They tried every which way .I said no I wont budge. “Your mods do not add value to your car” only applies to when your trading in your car. We know full well that a dealership will turn around and try to up sell that traded in “enhanced” car. Dealerships themselves “enhance” their new cars with aftermarket products, which adds value only when the car is new. Which is why, if you have a mod’d out car and want to get more for it, your best bet is private sale or selling it to a specialty dealership.

I love how they talk down on your sales as if you’re not making money. Yet, you have multiple streams of income (clothing, KZbin, etc.). So even if you don’t make much selling cars the moral and ethical way. You’re still getting the money you “missed out on” if not more. You reap what you sow🤷🏾‍♂️

Point to a car you want to buy, point to your trade, ask "How much a month, total, for 48 months (or whatever term you want)." When the salesman says you and he will have to go inside to figure it out, talk to manager, etc. give them your name and email address and tell them to let you if/when they can figure out what they are selling the car for. Tell them you are asking other dealers for the same figure and lowest price gets the sale.

Great video. Silence is still golden, especially when it comes to sales. Do not play your hand too soon. Let them talk and talk and try to give you their "best deal" and then tell them their best is not good enough and that is when you speak and discuss what you wanted your OTD price to be. Either they bend towards your offer or they break. They have to talk, you do not until you are ready.

Why is it that enhancements DON'T increase the value of my trade BUT, the dealers enhancements (add on's, beef-ups) ALWAYS increase the value/price of the dealers cars? Why? They are BOTH depreciating assets! Here's the deal, ...if you buy my car at wholesale, I buy your car at wholesale. It's that simple. If the dealer doesn't agree, I won't sell him my car and probably will not buy his. A used cars value is just that, it's real value. That number is the same if I'm buying/selling, if you're (the dealer)is buying/selling or the man (private individual) down the street is buying/selling. The cars worth/value is the SAME FOR EVERYONE involved. Nothing makes me walk out of a dealership faster than for the dealer to start talking about different values for a used car depending on who's buying/selling the car. If I did that in real estate I would be in violation of the law. If I buy or sell real estate based on who and what circumstances are/is doing the buying, I'd be locked up. Its called price discrimination. It matters not who is buying/selling, IT'S the SAME PRICE/VALUE for everyone involved regardless of who is "in the business" or, if it's a private seller, selling an item from his personal driveway. Wholesale prices for a used ANYTHING is nothing but a marketing scam where the seller feels they are entitled to more profit just because they are in "THE" business (or in this case because they own a dealership/car lot). I'm afraid NOT!

While trading in my vette the guy popped the hood and tried to tell me it was in an accident because the front fenders bolts were not exactly in the center of each hole. I had to say something because he was wrong. I was like "that means nothing the holes have extra spacing in them so you can do body panel line adjustments and not every fender is perfect from the factory so some are a little off center to make the body lines and panel gaps are where they need to be. I also mentioned how he already pulled the car fax and no accidents were on it. He just gave me a puzzled look and just nodded but in a way he knew he wasn't getting that on me.

The biggest thing you left out is in a trade the only number that matters is the difference. Everyone should know what their trade is worth and then only negotiate the difference. This BS of no haggle prices is a joke last time I bought a new car that’s what the salesman told me that their prices are no haggle I said perfect here is my trade in I know it books for this much wholesale so here is MY no haggle difference long story short they made the deal. I knew what I had and what they had and knew what the difference was. That way no one got screwed it was a fair deal for both parties. Dealers now want it both ways no haggle price on their cars but devalue the hell out of trade ins that are clearly high book.

from a lot of videos ive seen, they say dont tell them u have anything to trade in or say you arent sure if you have something to trade in. If they know you do they already kind of know what they might give you for the car and adjust the price of new car accordingly. I think best best is to try and always get their lowest out the door price before mentioning how much you have to put down or trade in.

Ok great video but let's put this into perspective. In today's world I'm looking to order a Trail Boss LT standard bed. Everything is selling at MSRP or with a $5000.00 market value added to the price. The only thing I will get back is rebates and buying it with a supplier discount. Well good luck with that right ? Haha Chevrolet is no longer offering the TB at supplier discount and nobody will deal and I understand why because these trucks are only on the lot for a few days . So how would you suggest or what would you do to get your best price with no trade and 820 credit ? Seems like I don't have much to work with considering the truck I ordered showed up and didn't have the options I ordered so yeah I don't believe it was my order. Now you can't order it those options per Chevrolet Convenience package II safety package and trailer package. So do I order one from you ? So how do you get your best price on a 2021 Trailboss with great credit, no trade and have cash for a down. I called you and left a message and your dealership yesterday to see if I should drive your way. Yes semiconductor is all BS along with covid thanks to the government. Keep up the great work Mike

Know your numbers, haggle every negotiable number, and walk if they try to steam roll you. Put your emotions aside and realize that cars are widgets and put the work in by having dealers compete. P.S. - Don’t seek advice from salesmen. They are not interested in you (just the sale). Caveat Emptor !

What is the situation if your credit is good - and you say about waiting to see APR when submitting, it could come back really good from financial and you could suggest a higher APR??

Salesmen in the comments were triggered! 😂 They’re guilty for ripping people off. I’ve been ripped off twice. As a young black woman at 19 and 21. Not this time. I’m watching all of these videos!

I like your videos CD but would whole heartedly disagree on the one price dealership. I shopped one got a price ,checked other dealerships and low and behold the one price dealership came down more than a grand. pays to shop around
