DUDE!!! Thank you for mentioning that wifi password issue! I've had mine for about a month and all my passwords are incredibly secure. Been banging my head against the wall trying to figure out why it would keep dropping off the network. Will have to give that a try. Also, good lookin chickens :)

D Grill- You are the only guy that explained why I cannot connect my GMG to my internet! Thank you man. I've had mine since October, 2017. I'm 20 minutes North of Milwaukee, depending where you are you may want the jacket for it for those winter smokes. Great investment.

I just watched the Brisket video yesterday and now this video today. That was sweet, setting the profile one handed. Taste test and some more. I wish I had seen this video before I used a brisket for my Daniel Boone's maiden voyage. I am now pretty certain my Wi-Fi firmware needs to be updated. A perfectly good brisket, cremated. All other viewers that watch his video and read my comment, please start with chicken.

Sorry the brisket didn't work out. Yeah, good to start with something not very expensive.

A few weeks ago I had commented on one of your other videos how I had never tried ribs before. Well low and behold if my daughter didn't get me a Traeger. What a surprise that was and very much appreciated. So last weekend to break it in we cooked 6 racks of ribs on the Traeger using a 3-2-1 method and I have to tell you they were wonderful. Even my little granddaughters couldn't get enough of them and they can often be picky eaters. I'll be watching to see what you do with yours. I agree, its just another tool for cooking but doesn't replace the Weber.

Congratulations. You don't need to use foil to tenderize ribs in a pellet grill. The pellets have moisture built in. Just cook low to smoke, then up the heat. Kind of like I do here. Just extend the 150° F. smoking time to 4 hours, then use 275° F. when upping the temp. kzbin.info/www/bejne/g168npKmadR1edE

Here's what I did to solve this problem - I created a new guest network on my router without any special characters, and then let the GMG app connect to that. It solved my problem.
@DGrill5 жыл бұрын
There's a big in the old firmware. It cannot accept a password with special characters or it was something like that. I explained it back in an another video after this one.

Great vedio I thought it is a charcoal grill .

A pellet grill is wood only. No charcoal.

Please define special character
@DGrill6 жыл бұрын
Everything on a keyboard that is not a letter or a number, is a special character. As are the commas and periods in my sentences here.
@Tunaslayer16 жыл бұрын
@*&/%+() are all special characters. Some passwords require at least one special character.

Was the chicken slightly smoked-pink just under the skin?
@DGrill5 жыл бұрын
Smoke rings only go a certain depth. The smoke penetration to that degree. So it goes in some as you saw. But you taste it in every bite.
@karensorrentino94985 жыл бұрын
D Grill i made chicken thick cutlets in my GMG DB and I was surprised that there was a pink ring. I wasn’t sure if that was the “smoke ring” or if undercooked pink. My intellect said it was fully cooked due to IT above 165, but since I’m new to GMG grilling, I was concerned.

What made you switch to a pellet grill? I have the same Weber grill as you, and I have been eyeing a pellet grill also.
@DGrill6 жыл бұрын
Can't say I see it as a switch. For me, it's just expanding operations 😎. Still have the Weber Genesis II and the ribs I made on it the other day in this video turned out great: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oKWbf6WZqt-jd6s As for the Green Mountain Grill. I explained the benefits of it at the end of the video. Both have their place. Way I see it, 2 grills are better than 1 🤓. If you're eyeing a pellet grill. I can say Green Mountain is the winner for me. As I mentioned at the end of this video here.
@jasonbeymer40256 жыл бұрын
Oh, I'm totally sold on it. You are the people's spokesman for grilling and smoking equipment. Your videos are so helpful, and I have ventured into cooking more than I ever expected!
