2-stroke head-to-head: 150 or 250?

This makes sense. 250 exc with red powervalve spring im slower than with a green one. But ithink its because it wheelspins to much on hardpacked track.

@@boysfromthebush2013 Owned many YZ's and the 2nd-3rd shift (horrible), vibration, no turning, RM250 is superior (however they are long gone). KTM 250sx is like actually 'new' not 25 years old. Plus, that chain chatter from the buffer on the swingarm and rear end (kick up) from braking bumps. Aluminum frame just sucks period.

Is 5’6 to short for a 250 you think? I can ride a 125 very comfortable and can plant both feet on ground almost flat, I know once you set the correct rider sag that may help and stuff but I’ve never got the opportunity to hop on a 250

I'm a little bit taller (175 cm, about 5'8 and light at ~60KG) and switched to a 250 2 stroke when i was 18. Really depends on the type of tracks you ride, and how ofter you ride.

Dalton Mitchell the 250 is taller than the 125 and stiffer suspension , I’m 5’8 and was on tip toes on my 16 250 sx

Jeff Ward was 5'6", if you really WANT to ride a bike you can ride anything. Look up German GP refer Deitmar Didi Lacher, he reached 500cc 2T and was only 5'4". If you really want something, you'll figure out how to make it with for you.
