Hey brother Allen dont make these pipes or headers I got these from Simon Blesing the owner of Olimat Engineering. You can buy them directly from his website and if you need something specific then I would just PM him on Facebook or send him an email through his webpage. Each pipe is made to order.

Im a chainsaw freak! I own 135 of them and they range from old vintage saws to semi modern day designs. Recently I came across an expansion chamber with a silencer with a stamped tag that say, Leo Vince hand made, and the silencer is badass too! I don't know exactly what this pipe came off of? I was bullshiting with this scrapper dude who stopped by my house to ask me if I had any metal i wanted to part ways with and I happen to glance over into the back of his pick-up truck and seen this expansion chamber in a pile headed to the recycling center and immediately ask him what the hell was he doing with it! Your not scrapping that are you? He said if I gave him something of equal wait for it I could have it. So I gave him an old fireplace insert that weighed about four hundred pounds! He was happier than a retard in a candy store with that!😃 it has a small indent up close to where it goes on the cylinder, but I figured it would have too long of a section in that area down to the cone and would probably have to cut that section down anyway for the application i would use it for. I been thinking about where to come up with a piece that had a flange to bolt it on to the cylinder and connect it to the rest of the pipe and guess what? Your video just happened to pop up and there it was! That is exactly what I been looking for! I' bought a McCulloch go kart frame from my neighbor and I have a McCulloch 7-10 chainsaw that has a 70cc engine that i plan on taking off the saw and transplanting on the kart, i figure that ought to pull my old fat ass down the street faster than I really need to be doing! But hey! You only live once so what the hell do i have to lose except some skin if i crash it! Or some money if I see the cherries and berries in the rear view mirror! Either way im going for it! Thanks for the lesson on pipes brother! 😉

Hey brother I love chainsaws too! I got 5 of them hahaha a few less than you! Thanks for taking the time to watch my vid and comment bro I really enjoyed reading it! My oldest saw is my Dads 1977 homelite its so awesome 58cc Super XL Auto. I took the bar off sanded and cleaned it all up and painted the original lettering on the bar and polished the handle all out! All of my saws have my own touch! Chainsaws are the funnest piece of home equipment you can use and own! I love working on them and fixing them too. Ive fixed so many of my friends chainsaws and other small engine equipment! My favorite saw is my decked out MS462! I got the bark box on there boy sings a note 🤣. Braaap brother enjoy all your saws Id love to see a pick of your man room hahaha! SAW HEAVEN!

Are you familiar with the rovan f5 or rf5 cars? It has the 36cc motor and it sounds just like your linear pipe explanation. Does anybody make a better pipe for that car?
@eastsiderc Жыл бұрын
I have that car and yes its a very linear pipe. And the only pipe I know that will work but you have to cut the body all up is the losi 5T pipe. Other than that I dont know of a good one.

@@eastsiderc I can weld stainless and lay out pipe, maybe I’ll make one someday. Nice videos, I’ve been watching just about all of them. I saw a comment from you on someone else’s channel about the break in for a 2 stroke, beat the snot out of it or something so the ring seats fast. Is that true? Don’t bother letting it idle like a nitro but just let er rip on the first tank?

Nice video! From my experience with racing these 5th scale gas cars, I prefer to use either the high flow cans from CY, or the Samba 3 chambered tune pipes. The single chambered expansion pipes did produce great performance, but with more noise, and just too much wheel overspin in races. The engines also became harder to start after a while, and after taking the engines apart, we would notice the pistons were worn out more on one side, which was strange, and we would assume it was more due to improper back pressure. They were awesome for bashing around a stock motor, but for more expensive modded motors such as the Oddified Racing modified Zenoahs, we would stick to the Samba 3 chambered pipes, which were quieter, smoother power band, and would rev to the moon! Never had piston issues with the Sambas. The Oddified modified Zenoahs were Championship quality engines in Europe, and probably the fastest and hottest motors around! I don’t know if they are still around, but the Samba pipes were serious business, and lethal when combined with the Oddified Zenoahs.
@eastsiderc3 ай бұрын
Pistons worn on one side is an air leak causing a lean condtion or a bad tune. I run my engines hard and the pistons look perfect after hours n hours of serious besting with the taylor side pipe . This olimat pipe is way to linear and does not make very good power at all. Low end is totally sacrificed and the top end is okay. The Taylor pipe makes great power on modded engines! I have a 39cc TMR engine that I know would out perform any oddified engine. It pulls 26/48 gears violently on my 26.5 pound baja! And we use the Taylor pipe. The engine is heavily ported and ZERO piston issues witb the Taylor pipe and 50:1 mix. Its my race car and race engine Im now switching it too 100:1 because It wants so much fuel. I cant wait to try 100:1 Amsoil Saber! Talking about screaming bro!! Gonna be drag racing soon. Once I get the start down its all over! I have not seen another small engine pull 26/48 gears like Allens 39 stroker!
@eastsiderc3 ай бұрын
Dont get me wrong though man! The Man behind oddy is extremely smart! His engines are totally awesome! Wish I could have one honestly! My engine builder of the 39 has a lot of respect for Oddy and his engines! He is super smart bro! Well you know I dont have to tell you because you have raced his engines. I agree with you too. Overspin for racing is no bueno. Drag racing it can be okay in the dirt!! I enjoyed reading your comment! Thanks for taking the time to watch my video and leave such a long comment! I appreciate people like you. I hope I didnt come off as jerk off in my last comment! Ive just never had an engine so nasty as my little 39. I cant wait to race it against others and see what it does. My first gear is most drag racers second 😂 so it should kick some arse!!
@Ericdagreat3 ай бұрын
@@eastsiderc Hey brother! Awesome that your builder knows the Oddies. Nah, I did not even sense for one bit that you were coming off as a jerk, matter of fact I found it very informative because we did have several racers that did have air leaks on some of the suspect engines, but coincidentally it just happened to be on the cars that were running the expansion pipes like the Jetpros and Ddms. The Jetpros seemed to give very good top end from what I remember, but had a lot issues with noise and trying to control the cars in the tracks, depending on the type of track. The Oddies were most definitely insane for the whole RPM spectrum, no doubt. I am hearing a lot of good things on this 100:1 ratios. I am going to have to give these higher ratios a shot because we have always ran 28:1, up to 32:1, with Red Armour oils which do an outstanding job at keeping the ports clean, but I am going to have to give the Amsoil a try. I am going to have to check out these TMR 39 strokers. I have also been hearing great things on these Taylor pipes, so might have to scoop one up. You got great content brother, and enjoy watching all of your videos. Keep it coming. God Bless 🙏

@eastsiderc Жыл бұрын
Olimat is a great pipe for sure! I tried this specific one on my engine and it softened the torque some but raised the Rpms. No big deal it was worth a try. Im looking to add as much torque as I can to pull big ⚙️⚙️ gears. I mainly got this pipe to try out in my 45cc with the bigger header and for my TMR 50 I think it will be a great choice for both of those engines. I highly recommend this side pipe and the Taylor one.

fantastic video, I wanted some information for the Losi 5ive t 2.0 when a beast of the "alx 96cc brutale" type is mounted, what happens to the differential, can it support this power? thanks anyway you have a new subscriber 😀💯
@eastsiderc Жыл бұрын
Hey brother well I appreciate ya! And honestly with a nasty torque monster like that Id just go ahead and up grade that diff to a nice billet diff set up and forget about it. I dont think it could handle it but you could give it a try! I have seen it handle 12s electric power which is brutal on the drive train! There is only one way to truly find out and that send the power through and upgrade later haha!

The Taylor side pipe or the Rovan rear dominator clone or even the DDM Dominator itself are great pipes

So just more question I know you run high end motors do you or would you run the c-12 on a rovan 36cc motor it’s a zenoa clone it is a dual piston ring motor that I have removed the bottom ring and also like you said in previous video I did the spark plug mod by raising it? I watch all your videos and learned a lot from them.

Awesome thank you very much for the support and Im very happy to help. And Yes I run the C12 on all of my RC engines. Big bores , small bores, modded and stock!
