I needed to hear this. I started burpee training (Busy Dad) 1 year ago this week at 65 years old. I've had some slips and misses for sure but I've made some good gains and weight loss. Mostly it's helped me relearn discipline and pushing through to the end like I used to do in my trail running days. I started this week back into weight training for the first time in years to build strength to do more challenging canoe trips where portaging my pack and canoe in the rough Canadian wilderness require me to have good body strength and stamina. I'm trying to figure out now how to incorporate weight training and continue to keep up some burpee training so after the winter I can return to burpees with a vengeance. I'll be 67 then. You're a motivator!! Thanks!

I admire that you’re willing to move just beyond burpees. Nothing wrong with the guys that do it, but I’ll admit I got bored pretty quick. I like to just add some at the end of my workout now. Also, I did building the monolith and it’s no joke. You better eat and get plenty of rest cause man it’ll mess you up.

I find it comical how the natty "experts" of today don't come near the achievements of the greats from the past. If you want something you can follow those who did it, or those citing meta analysis. I don't think Reeves was natty

@@lydyafalconbouvoir That has been rumored. I haven't seen any picture to make me suspicious, but that doesn't mean anything. He did write that letter to arnold trying get his help to clean the sport up, and promoted drug free bodybuilding after retirement? Again that doesn't really mean anything. He seemed to keep himself in good shape after retirement and made it 74 years? I guess we'll never know. I actually met him. Yeah me! 🤪
