Thanks for this kind of review. So many of these reviews are just initial impressions that really don’t mean much. I’m buying one, but I’m waiting for the manual to drop. I’ll definitely be looking at more of your stuff.

@@xRenegade_999 30K downpayment, 750 credit score. My advice is if you don't have the entire lump sum, don't buy it. The insurance and monthly payment will be a lot unless you're making high six figures (I make low six figures).

Thank you! I will have to check and see…since I did the big turbo I haven’t been checking because I’ve been driving harder. Before that I was able to get close to 30-32mpg in normal mode 8th gear just highway cruising at 1600rpm. It sips fuel.

18-20 city (sport mode) and 20-24 (normal). I get about 32-36mpg on the hwy. it’s a great platform. The Z gets horrible mpg. 😂

@@TheRandyns if you’re more of a driver than get an 86. If you’re more into straight line power and wanting an eye catching car then get a Supra. That’s my advice. The 86 is for the enjoyment of driving and the Supra is a jack of all trades master of none kinda car that is just nice to have. Don’t get me wrong, the Supra is still a cool car, just comes down to what you like. It also cost twice as much as the 86.

Appreciate this video but I feel like it really doesn't justify anything. As soon as I heard "16,000 miles"...? That's still a brand new car. The car isn't that old but people should make reliability videos of 30-50K+ miles, that's when these BMWs start to show their true colors.

Not exactly, the 2021-2022 ECU’s can be shipped overseas and be cloned to another ECU that then can be unlocked. So you have to source an older unlockable ECU and copy and paste data from the new ECU over. It’s not as straight forward as the 2020/ early 2021 ECUs. Also more expensive to clone the ECU

Great video but no offense 2 years and 16000 miles the world's worst car isn't even broken in yet so this is hardly a long term review!!! Again it's only the miles you have on it but I would rather see 4 or 5 years and 70000 miles to see if a car is actually reliable not when it's still almost new.
