I am a biker who was there that day, the corso was 3,5 hours and one of the rules were: you are allowed to drive by on that house only once. It was very well organized ! I had tears in my eyes driving by that house, knowing the boy will die soon. At the beginning it wasn’t even sure if the boy would be able to be at home to see this because he already was so sick he could have been in the hospital during this event, but luckily he was at home

his last and biggest wish was fulfilled because of LOVE and RESPECT. I'm sure he entered the gates to Sto'Vo'Kor with a smile in his face. Just imagine 81, 15 and 7 riding side by side, all others joined and made the wish come true in peace to give respect to a 6 yo that never had the chance to ride his own bike . . . hell, I'm close to tears

Hello there, I'm a Biker from nothern Germany and took part in this event. It Was stunning to say the least! Over 20.000 bikes and riders in one little town was mindblowing. The structure was very good planed out and very intuitive. It was a pritty Hot day for us, but It was worth The wait! As we drove by the house All the engines reved up to the max and filled the air with loudness and the smell of burnd petrol.

I was there with my motorcycle buddies. We started in the Emsland and met up with about 100 other riders at a gas station there. Then we rode with that group to Rhaudernfehn, where Killian lived. When we arrived in the town of Rhaudernfehn, we were speechless. We had never seen so many motorcycles before. It was really well organized and everything went smoothly. Unfortunately, a 21-year-old motorcyclist didn't make it home on the way back from the event Ich war dort mit meinen Motorradkumpels.

It took more than 3 hours (some told up to 5 hours) that all bikers passed the house. So we are proud to be part of this event and thanks to everyone who participated. Also a big respect to all of the "bluelight organizations (police, fire brigades, etc) to join (and passed too after all of the bikers) and made this possible. Not every biker club belongs to people with more violent or criminal energy. Some clubs are more like “regulars’ after-work bikers” who have come together out of interest in a specific motorcycle brand or activity (e.g. traveling). Just see if you can find videos of the motorcycle service at St. Michel (St. Michaelis Church) in Hamburg.

A lot of motorcycle gangs in Germany aren't really gangs. They are more like clubs for people who like to drive together and tinker together on their bikes. Many many bikers have nothing to do with crime and just enjoy the ride. It's a really nice community, that's why I wasn't surprised by the show of support. Though I guess no one expected that many people to come.

But be fair, when bikers are in the news, is it the vast majority, the 90%+ that behaves well that is mentioned? Or is it Hells Angels/Bandidos/Satudarah kicking up a fuss? If you haven't looked into it, the sentiment around bikers you get from the news outside of events like this isn't exactly positive.

I try a translation Call Teddybear One Four I was on the highway for nearly eight hours Was close to my target and pushed heavily ahead The sun was low, when I got to the exit The diesel roared beside of me, the radio was on When the voice of a little boy comes out of it He just said: "Channel 1-4, is there somebody, if so Then call me back and speak with teddybear" To the town it wasn't far and I progressed very well I took the micro in the hand and said spontaneous "Hey, I'm calling teddybear, where is the young guy? I'm on your wave, do you get me?" It got silent on the channel, I wanted to change it There asked the boy: "Driver, are you still on?" I said: "Yes", and he begann to tell "Every day from early to late I switch on this box Am in a wheelchair, can't walk and am whole alone And my mother works, she said, it has to be so Because Daddy died a year ago on this highway He was a driver just like you, up to he couldn't anymore She often says to me: 'We get it', and pretends, there was nothing But every night I hear she cries, I know she hasn't has it easy" And while he spoke, it got to me Nobody else was on channel 14 to this time He said: "This radio from daddy now is mine Its the nicest time killer with somebody like you Daddy too spoke en route with me just like you And one day he said: 'My boy, listen, someday I take you with me on tour, but it came to nothing anymore" I heard the disappointment from his voice I stopped a long time ago, that came to me a lot That got to my heart, I effed with job and time Because everybody can wait, but this boy, sorry I said: "Teddybear, where do you live, where are you located?" What I had to do, I knew for a long time But this little radio operator had no clue He gave me the address and said: "Goodbye and Perhaps someday you are here again, then it would be nice When my call reaches you" Then there was silence and I stepped on it with 50 through town The last bend, I was there, I didn't believe, what I saw There were 18 trucks, I was close to cry They listened to all and drove him back and forth Yes, one after the other took a turn with teddybear 18 times down the street and 18 times up again I was last and carried him back upstairs I've never saw a child, that was so completely happy His eyes were shining with joy, it was wonderful He said: "Driver, believe me, that was a show I catch you another time, I know that clear" And he tokk my hand the whole time I gulped and said: "Its all well, my son" Then I drove off and my radio still was on recieving When the voice of a woman came from it, she said And you knew, speaking was hard for her "Here is channel 1-4, here is mother teddybear speaking The most beautiful day of his life you gave to my child Never I can forget, how you where to my boy I thank you And alway good drive" ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- I hope these translation is any good.

It is heartwarming to think our German brothers and sisters organized a turnout like this for a sick young kid. You're all a bunch of soft hearted saps.... just like us. ❤

Haven't been there myself that day, but it took place just 20km away from my house. Actually the traffic was redirected and police asked to avoid the area if possible. By the way there was a similar event couple of years later, also for a kid who wished for trucks and emergency vehicles. Less vehicles then this one, but still massive. Can look it up for you.

Biker clubs in germany aren't the same as in the usa. They may look tough. But they're mostly normal people who just like to drive motorcycles

When my kids were little and we went out I used to tell them if we get separated find a biker and let them know you need help. I’ve never met a biker that wouldn’t move heaven and hell to help a kid.

when the Family put that facebook post in the biker gangs site, they expected a dozen or two to come and would have been happy with that. But than it went viral and 20k came from all over europe with their bikes.

Coming from someone that has big muscles, tattoos, a sailors beard and a bald head, It's usually us scary looking guys that have the biggest hearts. Not all of us, but a big number off us simply have big hearts that have been broken by this cruel world that has made us hard, but we still care deeply.

I am not a biker, but I know quite a few. One has been my best friend since we were in middle school. He would drop the WORLD (except his girls) for me or mine at the drop of a hat and his entire crew would come with. Bikers have the biggest hearts.

The first minutes, with all the bikers on the highway, wasn't from this event for Killian, but from a Portuguese speaking country. It's sad what happened to Killian, but on the other side it's heart warming to see all this bikers from all around Germany and some neighbouring countries, to visit a child and make his wish come true.

I rode, as a biker myself, with several good causes like this one through the last "40" years. You say it's impressive for the person/family/friends etc, but your bikers heart is also felt up for your next year. The last one for me is now a several years ago, but when i think of it it stills make my eyes wet. It's for free (except the gas) and it has a big effect for both sides.

the footage of that many bikers at the start isn't from this event, but just to help you imagine how many bikers 20.000 bikers are. Still, it's crazy how many people can come together to fulfill a kids last wish. I'm literally crying right now, even though I knew the story already. Also shows that bikers just look mean or terrifying. Most of them are actually very friendly and will help you if you come up to them, asking for help. Especially if you're a woman or a kid.

This reminds me alot of the song Teddy Bear by Red Sovine, it also was translated into german by Jonny Hill and was a huge hit in Germany at the end of the 70*s. Original: kzbin.info/www/bejne/a6vShX-tp9Jsh6c German: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iZybk6uobL2SppY Guess this is one of the cases where the german saying "Harte Schale, weicher Kern" hits the mark.
