People on calorie deficit diets can burn more calories they eat, still eating a lot and burning a lot, so it helps maintain certain diet goals. A calorie deficit burns more fat instead of storing it, keeping you metabolism on an all-time high. Calories sometimes matter but if you workout a lot then it doesn’t matter how much you eat as long as it doesn’t make you sick and it’s relatively good for you. (Literally Panda Express could be used for dieting)
