I've been doing yoga for over 6 years now so i often won't click on 'beginner' classes as my ego feels I've 'surpassed' them. Today I decided to slow down an go back to the basics, and was pleased to discover how difficult these more 'basic' postures are- especially when you are not consistently practicing them! I have left warrior three out of my practice for years now and it was challenging! What a great lesson. Our bodies are always changing. :)

Similarly for me. I’d like to think that humble myself with a 30 day beginners yoga every year come January. Every time I find something new, sometimes lessons forgotten, other times like you said, finding welcome challenge in some of the basics, but mostly slowing down more than I want to and knowing this is where I’m meant to be. And oh yea, truly breathing. 😃🤓

I am learning that, when I take my practices slow, focusing on the journey rather than the final posture "destination," I am more satisfied with my overall practice. Now to take that lesson into my day . . .

Loved this one! I surprised myself with my stability. The progression has been perfect for a beginner's body. I love how you "invite" us to join you in the slightly more advanced version of the pose and dont say "come on tough it out, you can do it!" That's how I've hurt both my elbows and shoulders in the past. So thank you for your structure, calm, and your invitations ❤

The beginning felt shaky as I was falling down in the modified side plank. But i could deepen my breath nicely and did the warrior III without support. So glad to have experienced that. Loving the series. ❤

I had a really hard working day. I didn‘t feel like I had the energy at all today evening. I still did the session and though I was struggeling a lot I was for this time giving myself a lot of grace and that made this whole lesson an even bigger achievment.

I love this sequence. Warrior 3 was challenging, but I’m so glad I did it. Doing it this slowly, I noticed a mistake I had been making for years in it and when I fixed it, boy did I feel it. Hurts so good! I’m really enjoying this challenge because I’ve noticed a couple mistakes I’ve made (that I’ve since fixed) in postures that have contributed to some needless aches n pains. Thank you Charlie!

My feet are feeling so much better after 14 days of yoga in the last three ish weeks! They were very tight and achy before. It's making mobility so much easier and less painful. And my overall strength is improving too (able to get off the floor using just my leg and foot strength and proper yoga techniques; also noticed today that my shoulders are strong enough to lower me into thread the needle properly, and that my hips are much more open and child's pose is more accessible and relaxing!). Thank you, thank you, thank you for creating such a great and accessible series! I love that each day is different but still builds on previous days. This is truly a wonderful series and you are an amazing instructor!

I love this practice more and more, do you know why? I bind my practice with this single word: PREVENTION. I feel grateful for my body responding here and now and I want it to be able to do the same when I'm 80, to be able to walk. This is my big why, as I see my aging mum almost unable to get up and walk. You build your future strength now. Very motivating.
