Hi Mira, thank you for sharing your knowledge. I realized today that I am not breathing properly when doing your Pilates exercises and I feel at I am not engaging my core. In your membership, do you have a specific lesson for this? I’m interested in improving. Beginner here. 🤗

It's great that you're paying attention to your breathing and core engagement - that's key in Pilates! Don't worry, it takes practice. Before moving, take a controlled breath and gently pull your belly button towards your spine as you breath out. This activates your core and stabilises the center of your body so your ready to move . It covers these basics step-by-step and its great practice to integrate your breath and movement together .

Disculpe una pregunta: necesito fortalecer y crear más masa muscular. Basta para ello solo con pilates o se precisan otro tipo de ejercicios /deportes y cuáles? Gracias

¡Hola! Excelente pregunta sobre el desarrollo muscular. Pilates es fantástico para fortalecer y tonificar los músculos, especialmente los músculos centrales. Puede ayudar a crear masa muscular magra. Para un crecimiento muscular significativo, es posible que desee agregar algo de entrenamiento de resistencia. Esto podría ser usar una banda de resistencia o pesas livianas en su práctica de pilates.
