Welcome to day 25 of the 30 Day Improvers Yoga Challenge. Today we have a 20 min full body yoga flow focused on balance.
In today's class we work through a full body sequence with lots of standing balances that will challenge your coordination and locomotive skills.

Charlie! I have been so challenged in this series, and I have practiced daily for 9 years. Revolved half moon has always been a major challenge that brings me to my edge when using blocks, unable to hold without blocks. I wish you could have seen the shock and joy when I flowed in and out of revolved half moon with no blocks, on both sides! I was stable in revolved half moon for the first time in my life, with definite wobbles in the fun transitions. Nowhere near hand or headstand or 8 angle or compass, but enjoying the journey. And today it was my turn to surprise myself! 🥳🙏🏽❤

That revolved half moon balance sequence was wicked! I definitely have a better side/stronger standing leg. I really love your more challenging 20 minute practices.

Balances are my favourite yoga 🧘🏼‍♀️ exercise. 😊 I've become less able as I've aged but managed mostof them today so I'm happy with my achievements. Thank you Charlie. 😊

Challenging but great fun. You just have to trust the process. I’m wobbly as a newborn giraffe now but one day I won’t. I’m so excited to see the progression x

Yay, I'm finally caught up!! Today is the day I aced tripod headstand! It was strong and steady! I'm really proud of myself and thankful for this challenge. Thank you Charlie, Day 25 in! See you tomorrow for Day 26.

So good! Found how my inestable my left side is 😂. I know this is a long journey and I'm a newbie but still can't do some headstands. Looking foward to this this challenge next month too

Love this practice today, it was over so fast and I then realized how much my body needed this short and sweet practice. I can’t believe we’re almost finished with this challenge!

Just when I thought I was doing ok with balance, not perfect but better, you offer some new challenges! Thank you for this. I may have wobbled and flaxen out of the pose, but I am trying!

I haven't had much energy in the tank the last few days so I've been dialing the practice down a bit, but I'm glad I've still been sticking with the challenge and showing up to my mat every day. Thank you Charlie!

I cannot/won't do headstand as my body fears it (I broke my neck in a car accident when I was younger) so was very grateful for the opportunity to do more monkey jumps instead! I love yogi's choice. Another brilliant practice. The revolved halfmoon balance flow was simple but not easy- something to work on.❤

Love your vids so much! I am so very grateful! I can feel my body becoming stronger and more confident, and my heart opening to listen to it's needs. If I could suggest something for the end of those practices, it's that I really like taking my time in Shavasana at the end of class, to meditate, but when I don't have your cue to stop, I end up having to come out because of the ad at the end, which is not the most calming place to end up in. Even if people are on different schedules, they know how long the video lasts, therefore it would be lovely to have you guide us through to the very end! Again, thanks for everything you do, I thank you out loud at the end of each practice, hope you can receive it! 🌿🤸‍♀️

Today I was able to hold my shoulder stand for the first time. It seemed so far-fetched when I first started practicing yoga, yet I'm so grateful for your guidance in helping me get there. 💝

The balance sequence was so fun! Pyramid to revolved half moon to revolved hand to toe twist and then out the same way the pose was entered. Definitely challenged the balance in new and intriguing ways. Free space for choice was also nice. I worked on front splits in headstand.

11:59 I cannot believe I just did that transition. Without falling. Both ways! I remember a chest pain heartbreak and disappointment in myself because of equilibrium being off due to a popped ear drum last summer- I had bad days bc of fluid. I would literally just wobble so badly in half moon and revolved that my fiancée said “ ha ha … terrible acting… you’re falling so much it’s not believable “. Because it was THAT bad. I screamed at him to leave me alone like only a woman can, “ AT LEAST IM TRYING, Im crying because I put my all into challenging myself to a year. (But then altered it to work on my patience and form. ). THIS MEANS SO MUCH TO ME AND I CANT EVEN STAND FOR A SECOND!!!!!” And now half moon is routine and this difficult transition was awesome

I'll have to come back yo this one time and again yo help improve my one leg balance. On the plus side I manage to get my feet off the floor in tripod headstand. Wonderful practice as always 🙏

hi!! How can you improve dragonfly pose? (Legs extended apart and forward fold). Super simple but i never seem to make progress and it pulls on my inner knees. I love so much how you post shorts on working towards certain asanas. So good to learn the building blocks. Thank you 🙏🏼

It was difficult for me to do everything in flow. Monkey worked better but I can not lift my hips so high. Glad it was a short one I have 30 degrees on my ceiling. Thx 😍🤩😍

Hi Charlie. First and foremost, thank you for what you do. As someone who also teaches people how to move, I have really appreciated your teaching for nearly a year now. But today, I was a little let down. I was curious as to why the thumbnail for this class was you in mermaid pose, yet that was not explored in this class. I was looking forward to this pose, and while I still enjoyed the session, I cannot deny a small bit of feeling let down. I don’t want to sound rude or ungrateful for what you did provide, so thank you for your time if you read this.

Thank you for this challenge! You are so graceful in your monkey jumps. You lead so well vocally that I don't need to watch many times. However, I think I should watch so I can train my subconscious as to what is possible. As of now, I emulate a happy hippo jumping from side to side😂. I've seen improvement and this is one I will definitely revisit.

Thanks Charlie! Today was more of an intermediate class and the challenges were so in name only, at least for me. I was wondering why mermaid pose wasn’t included? You are in mermaid in the thumbnail. Otherwise, I enjoyed the class and your instruction and sequencing - as always.☺️
