I got through half of this before I collapsed! I'm getting older and haven't been looking after myself physically in recent years, so this is perfect for me. It's easy to understand the movements, they're not complicated, and I only need the one kettlebell I have :) Thank you for making this, Samuel.

I had injured my right shoulder a few years ago doing lots of kettlebell. I was afraid to get back into it but I used your videos to help get me back into the groove and I’m in it. I feel great and my shoulder feels better than ever. So thank you for your videos they are well paced and fun to follow. And thank you for being a part of my recovery.

Samuel I truly want to thank you. I've been plagued with psychosomatic problems for most of my adult life. It makes every little pain or discomfort in muscles that I feel into a fear. A voice that says "doesn't feel good, let's maybe wait a little longer". That way I've never been able to get into a steady rhythm of workouts. Having you here makes it feel like I have someone that is pushing through it together with me. Comforting encouraging words, without screaming at me to push to my absolute limit. Truly. Thank you so much for these videos.

Bought my first set of Kettlebells recently and have done this workout twice so far. First time I barely made it to 10mins, but today I did the whole 2 sets. Great content mate! Kettlebells are a cheat code, so underrated! I wish I incorporated it earlier on with my Muay Thai training.

Would recommend this video have had a kettle bell for ages and always just been sat in the corner of the room now finally used it properly. I only used a 4kg kettle bell to start with and hopefully when I get used it I can increase the weight.

@SamuelJordanFitness Жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for the comment! As many times as you like, but making sure that you have properly rested between each workout. Personally, I like to train between 3-5 days per week and I tend to mix up the workouts. You can do the same workout each time you train, but make sure to try to push a little harder each time you complete the workout and always properly rest between each session and leave enough time for recovery 👊🙏

Great job... in your opinion how many kalories we burn?
@aheenobarbushenocied9880 Жыл бұрын
Hello from Finland once again Jordan. I've been keeping up with the kettlebell exercises; Just made the switch to a 12KG bell from the original 8KG I started with. I've been sticking to this video for every session also. 😂 Do you think it's a proper time to try a more advanced workout with the kettlebell? Been going at it for a bit over 2 months now. Also thanks a ton for this video. It has become my personal kettlebell bible lol. 🙌
@SamuelJordanFitness Жыл бұрын
Great work!! You can for sure move on to a more challenging kettlebell workout now. I would suggest doing it with the 8kg first and then move onto the 12kg on the harder workout when you’re feeling more comfortable with it. Thanks for the support, I really appreciate it 👊⚡️💪🙏

Hi , can you answer how many calories this workout can burn ?
@SamuelJordanFitness Жыл бұрын
It will differ a lot depending on a variety of factors. I would say that a 20min workout will generally burn somewhere between 100-300 calories for most people, depending on how hard they work in the workout and the weight of kettlebell they’re using. The most important factor for weight loss though is your diet and making sure that you are in a calorie deficit. The great thing about strength training is that you will build more muscle mass and the more muscle mass you have, the more calories you will burn at rest and in your normal day-to-day activities. So in your workouts try to focus more on getting stronger, and control your weight by looking at your diet and eating healthy as well as controlling portion sizes. Hope that helps 👊

Bro while doing the strict shoulder press didn't the kettlebell weight put stress on your forearm, I just got my 20kg KB and found it to be uncomfortable doing that move.... i am a beginner so could that be because i am not used to it yet? I have a similar one like yours
@SamuelJordanFitness Жыл бұрын
Hey bro! Yes, when I first started my forearm would get sore too. Your body isn’t used to the weight in that position, it will adapt and now I don’t get any pain at all. However, I do have some sweat bands and I sometimes use them for longer sessions when I’m doing a lot of presses, cleans and Turkish get-ups. So you have 3 options: 1. The first is to persist with the presses.. Your forearm will get sore. Just make sure that you rest enough before your next session. Your body will adapt and eventually you won’t get any discomfort at all. 2. The second is to get hold of some sweat bands and put them in the position on your forearm where the kettlebell lies. It will provide a cushion for the kettlebell and make it more comfortable. 3. The third option is to adapt the exercise itself and do presses above the head holding the kettlebell with both hands. It will be easier as you’ll be using both hands, but you will also be doing twice the amount of reps. I myself did a mixture of the first two. I would do a session without sweatbands and the next session my forearms would be sore so I would wear the sweatbands so I could still train. Eventually the discomfort completely went away. Hope that helps! 👊
