I’ve been doing this exercise for over 3 years now since the pandemic. Regular weekend 20mins full body on top of mid week light pumps. I’m 40 now but I often get compliments that I look early 30s or even younger. I’ve tried virtually everything on KZbin and gym but always comes back to this and I can honestly say this is the most efficient and sustainable workout you can do at home (for parents with kids too) without having to pay or go to classes. In short, I can’t thank you enough Zeus!! 🔥💪

But you can easily double it up to make it 20👌 I also threw it together as literally had to shoot and pick up the kids , so was a way of showing people even in those short on time moments you can still put in a quick workout

I've often said to people that you generally don't need to lift 'heavy' as Heavy and light are relative. I've seen women walk into the gym and often a guy will pick up a heavy weight then proceed to do some sloppy reps with poor form in a bid to impress said woman whos walking by to get to the changing rooms. (I lift heavy only when strength training) ie: returning to the gym after a hiatus. Light weights can achieve muscle fatigue as can bodyweight. I love that this dude in the video 1. Knows what he's doing. 2. Is using light weights. 3. You can clearly tell his muscles are burning! I make the same "jeebus this is burning. I want to stop" kinda faces. It's all about good form and intensity and then your commitment to stick with it. With exercise, you can only ever get out what you put in. Great Video!!

Trying to recover from DeQuervains tendonitis in BOTH thumbs from weights that were too heavy for me. I went from 8# to 14#, not a good idea. Dr. was 0 help so I'm doing self care. So far so good. In the meantime I found I can use resistance bands & am doing interval training. I hope to get back to weights soon. Thank you for asking.

I've been doing this for 5 months now nonstop 3-6 times a week using 5 lbs at the start, to now 20 lbs dumbells, and finally managed to complete the set without breaks and dying from hyperventilating today, I still remember not being able to complete the first set and ignoring the lunges and not even being able to complete the last part, the progression is real and it feels good. Thanks for sharing this amazing workout!

So I’ve been trying to get myself in shape the past few months and came across this video about a month ago. I’m not ashamed to say I failed to complete this for the first few weeks. I’d make it to the third set (sometimes only second) and have to stop. The past week or so though I’ve been able to finish a few sets which for me is a big deal. Im starting to notice changes in my body and I’m really getting into it! Still a long ways to go but just thought I’d leave this comment and spread some positivity!

If the workouts or any others on the channel helped then that is amazing but it's still you who deserves all the credit for getting in there and getting it done, sticking at it and succeeding in what I always preach , Consistency Being consistent with your exercise and eating and making it a healthy lifestyle choice is the key, rather than a quick fix that you cant stick at and you're absolutely smashing it and showing others how it's done. I'm a 57 year old male. I'm also a cycling so my aerobic conditioning is pretty good. But I haven't worked out with weights in years. Today, I decided to change that and begin with this workout. I used 10 pounds on my dumbbells and that was all that I wanted at the end. Two hours have passed since I did this first workout and I can feel the fatigue in my muscles. So, that is enough to get me to subscribe to your channel. I hope you will continue posting and it would be great to do some vids for 50+ and older guys like me. Thanks

I'm looking to tone up (I'm skinny but with barely any muscle), and have a weight set at home so thought I'd give it a shot. For anyone who's interested, I'll be updating daily Progress report: Day 1. I could do exactly half of the routine with 2.5kg free weights (5kg in total) and Im sweating buckets. Some exercises were easier to do than others, looking forward to trying again tomorrow. Day 2. Legs are aching nicely. Same weights, could get through 10 and 15 reps (14:20 mins). The arm exercises kill me 😂

I recommend that you start with doing 3 rounds of 10,then once you feel comfortable do 10,20,10 and then start with what he has. It made it easier for me to get into it because other wise I end up quitting

Aye day 3 I was able to do all of it. I sweated a ton. But it felt good at the end. Kinda sore but that’s how I’ll get better. This is pretty good so far. Been doing it with 15 lbs dumbbells. He’s not lying when he says that it’ll burn even with light weights. 🔥 💯

Man. Lightest weights I had are 15lbs and I worked out like twice in my 34 years 😂. Made it through the second set somehow hahaha

Doing this with just 5kg dumbells and glad I did! To start with I thought I was going easy on myself but I was trembling by the end. Perfect 20 minute workout. Thanks mate. I'll probably do this every day for the foreseeable

I can complete this routine pretty easily now with a 30lbs dumbbells huge improvements, lost about 75 pounds of fat too, life is much better.

I have two dumbbells, 10 pounds each. Decided, since I, like many people are stuck at home, I'd work out with them correctly (tried improvising before, based on stuff I did at the gym before I bought my dumbbells, but I used 20 there, I had a false sense of security, wrecked my wrist). Started browsing youtube videos, one every 2 days (because with the exception of abs, I heard, working out the same muscles EVERY DAY is not always the best for them....) Of the three videos I tried so far, yours is the best!

I know I am out of shape and could only complete 2 out of the 3 complete sets... but honestly, I feel amazing having done so! I look forward to doing this daily or 4 times a week for a month and see where I stand from where I started. Thanks for the amazing video!

I haven't worked out properly for around 3 years, I was once in great shape but I was in a bad place for a while there. I'm not ashamed to say I did this with 2 2.5lbs weights. It killed so much, I have a lot of work to do but I think this workout and channel are the start of me getting back to my old self. Thanks for the videos!

How often would be good to do this routine? Every 2 days? and is it better if I do some cardio first?

Yea, every 2 days seems good. Usually 4-5 times a week. Have 2 rest days. This is a full body workout so see how your body feels after 3 or 4 days. Don't want to damage your joints if your muscles are too sore to work. Doing cardio before will leave you tired asf. Doing it after'll help you burn more fat, but keep the intensity and total cardio time to a medium-highish int, and 15-30 mins total.
