Hey friends, join me for this 20 minute standing yoga for seniors, beginners, moms to be or anyone who is dealing with any limitations keeping you from being comfortable on the ground. We are using a strap and a chair today. The chair is optional to aid in balance, if you don't need it then by all means don't use it : ). If you don't have a yoga strap, grab a scarf, a tie or a towel instead. This is a great all over 20 minute standing yoga class, we do stretching strengthening and a handful of balance poses. This is a great class if you want to work on any of the above, and if you don't have a mat, no problem practice anyway!!

My most favorite Yoga teacher on KZbin! Gentle, encouraging, with lots of alternative moves. This really helps with the arthritis. Most grateful for your instruction....Namaste❤❤

Thank you for this standing yoga routine. I'm not a senior but I am a beginner to a degree. I'm also in very bad shape and have a knee that doesn't allow me to get on the floor. This routine was 100% doable, yet still challenging. I plan to do it most mornings and I can't wait to see a difference in my strength and flexibility.

Loved this! I started back to yoga a few weeks ago, seated yoga. The improvement was quick and so welcome. This practice was a good introduction to standing. I expect to gain strength quickly with more standing yoga.

Thank you. Today is my 70 th birthday., 30 days ago I realized I was not feeling as great as I wanted. I started following you and another teacher specializing in elderly fitness. I am doing sooo much better and hope to continue living a healthier lifestyle into my brighter future.

Wonderful mini yoga class! I’ll just be starting to teach a Seniors Standing Yoga class for the elderly senior residents at a beautiful living community. The median age is 80 but these folks are very able bodied. Of course I’ll eliminate the forward fold without using hands on chair. I’m so happy I have a class to model my class on as it’s been only seated chair yoga I’ve taught for seniors. Many thanks to you! Namaste 🙏🏻

I want to say thank you for this, I've been working out since I was 19, I am now 62, recently I've had to stop working out because of arthritis in my shoulders, but this workout is doable for me I am very grateful

This was awesome! I am just starting Yoga again after 10+ years and am finding I really need to ease into it again just like a beginner. I've done several other channels classes too & your channel is definitely my favorite!

Hi Kim : This is a wonderful video - I am not infirm but really inflexible and the chair prop is so great . I would love it if you would consider something similar but for a longer session . I have tried a few of your other videos but love this one the most and do it regularly . Thanks !
